I hate unbalanced H/R schedules like this. There's nothing worse than realizing "Well, I'll barely get to see my team for half the season." I like being able to watch players (in person) throughout the year. In 2011, Ithaca opened at home, and then played five of the next six on the road. Throw in a bye week and they were home once from September 10 to October 22. Lousy, from a fan perspective

Completely agree, tougher to gage fan interest as well without the nicer/warmer days at home in the north country. Pretty impressive job scheduling though. Looks like Endicott said bye bye after getting walloped twice in a row. Good for the E8 and LL for scheduling each other even more. Would like love an Empire conference with a Liberty division and something else clever to name the other division with the empire 8 teams. The WNEU game scares me a little because SLU will most likely take a step back and WNEU will be jacked up to prove they are for real. Overall, the home/away ratio stinks but a pretty solid schedule.

I see this poster disagrees with Hobart about the game time and with Ithaca about the date of their game.

IC shows game vs. SLU on 9/23 on their website. SLU hasn't posted their 2017 schedule on their website yet, just on twitter, but said the game is their home opener on 9/16. Asked SLU & IC to clarify date.

I see Ithaca has a bye in week 2 before the SLU game, so maybe they made the mistake.

IC plays @Brockport in Wk 2. I think their bye week is probably Wk 4 before they play Hobart in Wk 5.

I have to admit, everyone brings in recruits, and there's no praise more empty than a coach talking about how much he likes one of his, but every time Dan Swanstrom's Twitter mentions another area code, I google it.

They are hitting Jersey very hard it looks like

Yeah. I mean, recruits are what they are at this level. You bring in 60 kids and hope to have 15-20 when they're seniors. But it's all we've got right now

I'm late responding to this, but I meant that he already had ties to local NJ/PA talent at the HS/Prep level.

And it looks like every LL team was able to fill a 10 game schedule in 2017 except for Rochester (who plays 9 games schedules anyway).
