Gro might have to pull a Barry Sanders and retire right before this major milestone.

Hopefully one of the all-time LLPP, Inc. posters get to claim that monumental 10,000th post. I, budcrew08, will take this post, number 9,993, and wait for a LLPP king to take 10000.

'gro

Not it.

Gro tries to not be superstitious... almost to the point of making it a superstition. weird right?

Jonny Utah

I kind of thought this guy might deserve that 10,000th post, but Ill wont take any glory away from anybody

Well since I will most likely get my reply to the Emory Wheel denied, I figured i'd post it here, in case that clown decides to 'lurk'.

Preview your posting below. Possible spelling errors are highlighted.

Greggy boy, I hate to break the news to ya, but, as previously mentioned, you don't have a clue what you are talking about. I used the restroom today(a number 2), and it didn't smell at all. Would that be fair for me to say that it doesn't smell ever? Not a chance. And you can mark my words on that.

You know what sucks horribly? When someone who writes an article about something they have NO idea about. Forget all of the NFL affilliations through DIII programs(Jason Dobrow, I'll get to you next), Division III football is not the same as a Division I atmosphere, there was never a doubt about that, but other than a few inches and a few steps, the players' skills, coaching strategies, and intestinal fortitude put forth by DIII players, is right up to par with any football team or athlete of any calibur.

You complain about no bowl games? Bowl Games have ruined D-1A football. Much like the players playing for the wrong reasons, the bowl games are still in place for the wrong reasons as well.

Now, Mr. Dobrow, is Greg your 'significant other'? You are clueless. Name off a bunch NFL athletes from Arizona State. Great! I bet you could find a whole LOT more that didn't go the the NFL. Who cares? Anyone who actually played(you excluded), could tell you they play football for the love of it. If they make the NFL, great. Most understand that is a VERY small percentage. I can name off a lot of ex-football players from my college that aren't in the NFL. You probably work for them. Get a clue before you open your mouth. And tell your brother not to open his mouth either. He's probably mad because there wasn't a Division IV, so that he could've gotten the experience of playing more than the scout team.

You guys are clowns. And as Mr Union 89 mentioned, come visit us on d3football.com post patterns in the Liberty League board. We'll be MORE than happy to continue this discussion and maybe educate you a little bit on what a true d3 football experience is like.

Thanks for your worthless time.

Bobby thinks that #10,000 should hold true to LLPP Inc's core values, and should contain Garnet type material.

(Sigh of Relief) - That was close!!!!!

LD11 just checked his calendar.  he made need a reminder, but he believes he will able to attend said field trip.  LD11 will make sure not to relieve himself for 3 days prior to said scheduled date, so that he is of ultimate piss and vinegar.

RT has a note from his mother...he is in for 1/31 in the MIAC

'gro

Balloons and confetti just dropped from the ceiling in my office... obviously the work of LLPP covert operatives. Thanks guys.

Senor RedTackle

LD11 made reference to it in his note to the h-mo from Emory but RT wanted everyone to see what some D-1 azz-clown had to say and insists on a new letter writing campaign to rebut this guy...

Wow there are some really angry people on here. I went to a college many of you might have heard of, called Arizona State.

Jake Plummer went there, Marvel Smith the starting right tackle for the Steelers went there, as did Baltimore Ravens Pro Bowl Tight End, Todd Heap.

Do you want more? How about Rams strong safety Adam Archuleta, Bengals starting left tackle Levi Jones, 49ers long snapper Brian Jennings, Raiders backup quarterback Andrew Walter, the list goes on and on, and guess what that is a mediocre D-I school.

I agree with the author D-III football is not of the highest caliber. For all you D-III people who mentioned an NFL alum with D-III connections, while I agree there are some an average D-I school like ASU still has more active NFL players then have played in D-III, ever.

I don't want to hear about $12.50 tickets to the Stagg Bowl. I rather pay a high price to see Vince Young and Reggie Bush, guys who have actual talent, and can do things the majority of human beings cannot.

My brother went to a D-III school, one that is strong both academically and athletically, and his opinion of D-III football was quite similar to the author.

Every heard of keeping things to yourself if you don't have anything nice to say?
