Just learned UOfR just replaced their President following an "independent investigation" sponsored by the Board of Trustees, so clearly FB is way down the priority list.

As for Hobart, they have a 10th game in the works for what will end up as homecoming but it's not confirmed yet. Both the E8 and LL are working on an OCC rotation to help with scheduling but it probably won't go into effect until 2019, so it's kind of "ever man for himself" for this year.

Dlip,

the winner of the LL in 2018 will be one hell of a ****ing football team and one we can all stand behind...even if it's ****ing RPI again... ;D

I was just looking at the MAC homepage (what can I say, I am hungry for some D3 Football news!). Since their league has increased to 11 teams, the MAC administrators have switched to an unbalanced schedule, allowing every team to schedule 2 out of conference games.  Last year each team played only one OOC game.  In 2018,  all LL teams need to play 5 OOC games to play a 10 game schedule, could there be some opportunities?  Ithaca-Del Val?  Hobart-Albright?  Could be some compelling games...

I suspect most of the MAC schedules are complete for football, since they've had this set for some time. Knowing that the LL has just one year remaining where they need to schedule those multiple extra games (before the E8 agreement kicks in) will make it tough for anyone who wasn't able to schedule home-and-homes for 2017-18.

We don't have any complete LL schedules yet, although in fairness, we only have 45 complete schedules from D-III as a whole.

Thanks, Pat.  Is there a formal agreement between the LL and E8 that sets full 10 game schedules for 2019 and beyond?

I have heard from coaches that it won't be a full 10 games, but there will be significant crossover.

Hobart's Ali Marpet was the seventh ranked starting Center in the NFL this year and the highest ranked Tampa OLineman , pretty good having never played Center before. Ended season on the IR, hopefully he will mend by next season...

Which ranking was that? PFF didn't rate him high this season but loved Dotson. Either way from all the games I attended or watched he did have a solid season. He probably would have kept playing thru the injury too if the Bucs hadn't eliminated themselves in early Oct.

Made sense to shut him down, so they did, and he'll be back and better than ever for what's a critically important 4th season.

Well he is still in the top 3 d3boards.com upstate sock puppet posters of all time if that matters.   ;D

The kid from Bemus Point/Alfred is still #1, and the Cortland coach gets a close second I would say....

iamhuge is the GOAT imo.

Ali never posted btw - I'm pretty sure I know who it was, but it definitely wasn't him. Funny story, regardless.

Come on, don't start that.  I've been doing internet fraud investigations for 10 years and those posts and subsequent actions had every red flag you could have!

Iamhuge wasn't in the same category but was a classic nonetheless.  He didn't pretend to be someone else, just a larger than life character who came and went and I have to admit I miss that crazy bastard.  His kids play for the Steelers right?

100% chance if the Iamhuge boys had d1 talent that they would have their own reality TV show now.  I'm thinking Big Baller type stuff.
