And good to point out a kid let his team down with his actions.  Jr, 300lb DT who earned a suspension for a game we lost by 3 where we got flashed up the middle over and over again by at Best a middling rushing team in d3.  For any mistakes DeWall and the staff made, I support that suspension.

Shot putting a kids helmet on the field in a game we're up by 45pts at home...

I actually think the suspension is an NCAA rule.  If he gets suspended next game, that is by DeWall
And I totally agree on any suspension he doles out.  There were a couple of players from this last game who may qualify as well.  If you were there postgame, you would understand

Sadly I believe it.  Been relatively out of touch since moving south a few years ago but happened to be in springfied for business the 2015 game up there which was a mess.  Was disappointed with the lack of seriousness from the kids in the hotel.  Would've bnever happened in the first decade and. Ahalf of Cragga tenure.

Here's to calling the one you mentioned out, Henzes, a comverted WR SR who's been bypassed by 7-9 other WRs.  Been picked on more the last 2.5 weeks than I was as a horribly non-agile Frank ILB 20yrs ago (40 time was a adequate in the corridor back then but my hook to curl recovery left the middle 15yards back open a ton, that's why I could see it so obviously w a awesome kid in conde last few years, I basically made safeties playing with me want to drink).  This kid finally makes a play after letting receiver after receiver behind him for intermediate completions at will week after week and pulls that giving Endi a few first down with what less than 5-6 min to go in a 3pt game we lost.  How much was that last 2 min plus worth?

I don't know about everyone else, but it's kind of frustrating for me, once the NESCAC season starts every mid-October and the posters over there post their 4 page long diatribes constantly and that little 'New' tag shows up next to the board...The OCD in me MAKES me click on it but i have no interest in any of it. And every refresh, there's a new 'New'. I like checking the MAC, NJAC, E8 etc, but the NESCAC board makes my skin crawl. Is it just me or is this a shared pet peeve? Is it possible to 'mute' a board on here? We should look into that functionality if not. Or maybe move them to a new Region, the NESCAC region. Problem solved.

+k for the clarity........less than two weeks until the Statesmen-Dutchmen rematch....Dutch Boy should be very happy with the progress of the Union squad over the last few years......the prize is the LL title and the Staetsmen are still in it...well so is everybody.......My current  chances for the LL title:

   RPI.....40%
   Ithaca ..30%
   Union...27.5%
   Hobart ...2.5%

A lot of debate centered on the question of, "How much credit do you get for a good loss" after the Brockport game? I think the same discussion needs to be had about this game in the other direction, because Ithaca was pretty fortunate to get out of Fisher with a W. Snuffed out two Cardinal drives into the RZ with turnovers late, but honestly, a pretty underwhelming performance.

Is it possible Fisher's going to be that team that goes like, 5-5 but is generally a tough out? Sure. But they still went 2-8 last year and are 0-2 this year.

IC's bye week comes at a good time, because, with all due respect to Hobart, the next two games are going to decide the season for the Bombers, and they're going to need to play better

I'd sign off on this, though I think we should just admit that "Field" is basically Hobart. I know the transitive property is terrible in sports, but St. Lawrence just lost to a Morrisville squad that couldn't even stay on the field against Hobart.

Same. I try to read any board that could be relevant to national/playoff interests (and even some of the ones in my region that won't be relevant nationally) but I have a really hard time with the NESCAC drama.

Happier than a pig in **** Bartman! The turn around has been incredible and the culture has completely changed. With that said there is admittedly some valid question marks about the competition the Dutchmen have faced thus far and how good they may be. There is no question about how much better the program is as a whole; but how good they are they in comparison to the rest of the league? That's the question (of course take RPI out of the equation, Union will always better than Shirley ****ing Jackson's school).

The Hobart game will tell us a lot about both teams. Bart will be fired up after last years loss and fired up about the renewed hope of a new season (with LL play starting) starting with a win over Da U.

Believe the same just don't think Hobart deserves a separate line item yet.  RPI's schedule hasn't been any tougher than Union to date IMO so they are overrated at this point and will continue to drift up as teams do.  We played a better Wesley team a hell of a lot closer in 2011 and didn't get as much credit the following year and that included a team in 2012 that had Steven Webb, Bobby Dougherty, three AA at OL including Marpet, Devin Worthington, Tyre Coleman and a bunch of other guys who'd accomplished more than this RPI squad has.  Basically the last few years of RPI under this staff has looked like Hobart stitching it together in the early mid 2000's; good enough to win 7-8 games most years, mostly rock a soft OOC, win a big one with smoke and mirrors and slide into the playoffs but really isn't doing any more than maybe a soft first round win and out.  IC has played a tougher slate, but I can't say much about the results.

Don't discount the bye week then home game though for Hobart-Union.  Two weeks to get healthy and prepare (Harvey is finally back and looked good on a handful of touches even though he's prob only 70-80% now, we will see in two weeks) and the one game Bart played at home was by far their best vs the three road games.  With 7FR and 9/10 OL FR or Soph, every week of play and preparation will come with improvement.  Union may be feeling their oats basically having a nice year last year and looking good early.  Our D still makes me feel like my picture here, but I wouldn't be shocked by any result in that game.  At this point this league looks no better than it did 2009-2010, 2013, 2015 & last year which means I think a 3 loss team could win the league and get smoked traveling to some truly elite program in Rd 1.

Mach, I was thinking more like a Cheddar Bob moment.  If you don't want to shoot your foot don't bring the gun to the NESCAC boards.
Injuries to Jr and Soph OT, and career ending injury to starting guard have dictated that Hobart play the season with a very young Oline.  The kids are big, strong and good technical blockers.  2 weeks of preseason, 4 games and the next two weeks before Union should be plenty of time for the coaches to get them to gel.  The defense has plenty of talented athletes. The defensive scheme, however, is all over the place.  The coaches have 2 weeks to sort this out as well.  I have now watched all 4 games in person, and  I am confident that the team that hits the field against Union will be different than the team that showed up last weekend at Endicott.  Whether that team is good enough to compete against Union, Ithaca and RPI remains a mystery to me.
