Seems to really work the E8'ers into a frenzy....Union89 thinks we should all adopt this approach, similar to the 3rd person thing....

POST PATTERNS AIN'T A SPELLING BEE 'CORDING TO THE DAWG

Dawg sees no need for the constant spelling corrections from the E8 board for misspelling Ithica, Cortica, Sain't Jon Ficher, Utika, Norwitch, etc.  Reason being, if they understood the verbal flow of the LL board, they would understand that we here in the LL are more concerned with the pronunciation of words rather than the correct spelling of them.  And that's keeping it real.

Since when DAWG?  You LL folks been playa-hatin' on the E8 grammar for months!

RPI will always have a tougher time recruiting than all other NY schools.  Except in rare cases, for RPI student-athletes, athletics is a secondary consideration to the academics.

the # of kids who are:

1. qualified to get into RPI
2. interested in Engr/Sci/Mgmt
3. athletically talented

is increasing...

True--this means that a tiny number is getting larger.

jocks don't have to be dumb. The reputation of the athletic programs are begining to hold it's ground with that of the school itself.

It certainly are's.   

Ithaca gathers students from the entire Northeast, so more people here about it.

Hey LL guys, first time posting in here but Caz has been reading this for the whole season and enjoying the hell out of it.  Caz knows the rules and posts in the third person.

Caz will now hack off half the room (The U half) by taking a side and making a pick in the Shoes game....Caz says RPI will pull out the road win 33-21. Caz bases this on Union's general bipolarity this season and the Engineers knack for coming up big when the chips are down, as he remembers all too well from 2003.

Caz will pop in now and again and would like to thank all the RPI, Union and Hobart crew for the entertainment and lowering of work productivity over the last few months. Caz loves the term "friendasaurus" especially.
