If Cortaca was at the beginning of the year, I think a Cortaca II wouldn't sound so terrible. If ALL other LL/E8 crossovers were in the first 3 weeks, I bet more people can get behind a NYS Bowl.

This is an excellent point. How often do you hear "I wouldn't want to play [Team X] now?" The back to back nature of Cortaca and this really make it hard, especially when you *know* it's coming

I was going to say, you better link us. The ESPN story basically took our story exactly. Thanks to Frank Rossi, we broke it first.

RPI freshman offensive lineman Reuben Clarke saved lives and averted a potentially fatal train accident

Proud to have this dude in our conference.

Great game by RPI today beating BPort 21-13 . Forcing 5 turnovers and playing within themselves . Thanks for representing the LL so well. This game makes the LL look strong. Now go get Hopkins!

Congrats to them for a huge win - great hard-nosed effort from whistle to whistle.

gotta give it up for RPI. Do those who know things think that the Hopkins game will be in Troy or Baltimore?

Caz was hoping for some kind of football-hockey or even football-basketball double feature to check out, but both hockey teams and both hoops teams are away next weekend. Phooey.

Likely Baltimore.

Congratulations to RPI on their great victory over Brockport today. dlip is very happy for the Engineers (...puking right now). Shirley is proving herself to be one hell of a woman.

In all seriousness this win, and last week's, speak volumes about the character and fight in the Engineers. Rivalry losses can be tough and in 2006 RPI defeated and completely deflated an unbeaten and NCAA bound Union team. The following week the Dutchmen were completely listless and were run right the **** out of Rochester. This RPI could have had a similar fate but fought through the adversity and has now picked up their second consecutive NCAA win. dlip couldn't be happier for the Engineers and their loyal fans (congrats Mach!!).

dlip's tenure as an Engineer fan will continue into next week. Regardless of the outcome dlip can't think of a better LL representative this year. Congrats to this tough and tested team.
