Garnet has not taken the time to check if this has been posted here already.  He has only one question.

What was this guy thinking?

Makes me proud to be affiliated with this school.  I think the third one is almost just as good.  Getting arrested and charged with assault for not being able to figure out how to use the ATM machine...no wonder we call ourselves the Harvard of the west.

Unreal.  You think they could've censored the belly shirts they were wearing?

On another subject, LD11 just drove by his local Gentlemen's Club.  On the sign out front, the following was advertised:

Tiny Tina the Midget
February 6th

That's tonight!  Curiosity is almost getting the best of me.

LD11, KS thinks it is your civic duty to go see Tiny Tina and report back the results of your research.

If the refs didn't screw up the playoffs the Pats would be 3-time champs.

Ha that is borderline reeediculous LD11.  TDT has to agree with Dr. Gro on this one.  Your Pats got spanked and deserved to lose.

TDT, that word is spelled rediculus in this room.  My thoughts of the game.  It was an ugly win for the steelers but you cant say Seattle deserved it or even played better.

The steelers were the better team and  had a few calls go their way but not many that mattered too much where they got shafted.

1- The offensive pass interference was the right call as the tuck rule was the right call.  You shouldnt even have your arms out in the endzone if you are on offense.

2- I was screaming holding on that pass to the one yard line that everyone thought was a bad call and the only replay that they had/showed was from behind the qb.  The Denver Broncos held both the Pats and Steelers bad and it should have been called in those games too.

3-  Maybe the biggest reason as to why Pittsburgh deserved to win was because Pittsburgh played a bend but dont break defense.  They gave Seattle a lot of short gains and didnt give up the big play.  Seattle did the opposite, thats why they lost.  Thats where I thought the coaching/better team won the game.

4- Hasslebacks "block below the waist" didnt matter in the long run, Pitt still had the ball.

5- The punt return called back they never really showed where the hold was, maybe that was a bad call.

6- Pittsburgh played conservative in the 4th quarter because they had the lead.  Maybe if they tried, they could have put up 28.  They didnt because they didnt have too, they had a 2 score lead.

7-The angle on rothlesburgers td was not directly on the goalline and the referees know that so you can never tell if the ball actually goes over on a close play.  Thats why the call wasnt overturned.  There was still a 4th down too, its not like that play decided the game.

8- Pittsburgh didnt play stupid like Seattle did at the end of the half or the game.  Good teams dont do that stuff.

A smite for JU!!!!!

I hope it wasnt because I spelled "waist", "waste".....that was rediculus I must admit.

KS can't see them right now, the sites are blocked as Tasteless/Gross.  KS will have to wait to view.

reading up on si.com Gro found a story about superbowl halftime performers. nothing special about the story but they listed all 40 halftime show lineups... these 2 made me laugh

XXV - 1991 - New Kids on the Block

XXVII - 1993 - Michael Jackson and 3,500 local children
