Congrats to all of the ALL LIBERTY LEAGUE selections announced today. Especially Hobart's  Tim Denham as Offensive Player of the Year and Emmett Ford as Defensive Player of the Year. Tim had over 1000 yards and split time with the dangerous Rayshawn Boswell who was also named to the first team. Emmett played hurt for most of the year with a bad shoulder , but was able to claim this award for the second consecutive year(2019, also first team AA that year). RPI had the most (16) followed by Union(15), Ithaca(14),Hobart(13),Rochester(6),Saints(5) and Buff State(3). Thanks to some great athletes and a fantastic season.

Denham I think was the best player in the league this year.  You can tell watching him that he is the best athlete on the field.  I didn't know he and Boswell were juniors.  Gotta watch out for Hobart next year.  They obviously lose some studs on defense and their QB but they always find a way to reload.

QB coming back next year....

Oh ok he was a senior so I wasn't sure.  Are we assuming all seniors are just coming back or is this true for Krewson specifically and I didn't know that.

Union and Ithaca turn in their pads...So I know why Union has opted out of playing an ECAC bowl game, they're studying  ::) but what about LL Co-Champ Ithaca? Seems they've had enough. Nothing to gain???....I've long held the opinion that ANY post season game is a reward. Isn't it a chance to play together one more time?  A chance to help recruiting? A chance to try something new or work on something old while getting a look at next year's team? A chance to pad some stats? A chance to make one more memory?...Ah, that's probably it. They've lost 2 straight ECAC bowls. With no worthy matchup why chance a third.

we played in those toilet bowl games in 2018 and 2019 and lost both times. It's pointless. Nobody cares. The players don't even care. All it does is hurt the program's stature to lose to Utica and whatever Pennsylvania team it was two years ago. Waynesville and Jeffminster or something.

go to the playoffs, like a real program, or turn your gear in and enjoy Thanksgiving break because you didn't get it done.

Horrible, horrible take.  Players don't' care? Maybe back in the leather helmet days, when you packed up your skinny, turd ass body and started playing pick up basketball with the rest of phi beta loser.  These kids have worked their asses off for 10 months to play 10 games, any chance to get one more game, one more tackle is gold.  Football is the ONLY sport when once it is over, it is over.  I defy you to find any former college football player who wouldn't cash in for one more sack, rush, pass, reception, tackle or crunching block.

Oline there are plenty of coaches, players, etc who don't want to play in an ECAC game depending on the season and team.  It's not that uncommon.

Loving Oline passion here, totally inspiring, especially the crunching block reference ....Bartman loved to pull and find someone to hit. I was injured my sophmore year and had to turn in the leather helmet. I'm better now a few decades later. I'm thinking of applying to the HWS Masters in Management and gettin me one more year......BARTMAN RETURNS...haha ;D :o

Buff State coach resigned after going 0-10. Can that program become quality again? They used to be a tough matchup once upon a time.

Ice Bear says...****ing dumpster fire in the Bengal world recently. Ice has been there baby. Best of luck to the Bengals program moving forward.

Ice Bear says BTW, after his colonoscopy from the Dutchmen's brow ****ing beating on Saturday he has, after most of the soreness dissipated, tried on his ****ing new Engineer uniform. Ice Bear says it's his grandfather's from the Old Dorp days of ALCO, but it should suffice come Saturday. Ice is rooting heavily for a very deserving RPI team and speaking of medical procedures, Ice is also hoping something gets stuck up Dr. Shirley's ass as well. That would be a win/win for Ice, the Engineer players, and the Engineer parents and fans to say the least!!

Am sure he doesn't want a third trip to the Buff St. sidelines, but AD Jerry Boyes twice before resurrected the Bengals. Star player at IC who had an NFL tryout, he was strong head coach candidate at Cortland when RDragons rebuilt their program in the '80s. Landed at Buff St. and quickly found success. Interestingly enough, son Zac is currently backup qb at Cortland bound for the lead role in '22!

Wow, Ice getting karma swiped? WTF? Too much maybe? Well **** it, as honestly, that woman deserves all the criticism she receives IIBHO. Ice Bear means you have to really be an asshole to make Ice feel sorry for RPI athletes and family. And Ice genuinely does feel awful for them.

Dr. Shirley has bots that come and give -K when her name is mentioned. My +K will even it out.

Ice Bear says thanks Mach!

Ice Bear eyeballed the crew's ****ing picks for the upcoming weekend and wasn't surprised at all. Ice also feels this will be a close, low scoring contest between two good teams.

Ice Bear is really rooting hard for RPI on Saturday. He is really really rooting for them for all the aforementioned reasons, but especially because he believes they have earned his respect and support by overcoming many obstacles this season. Ice feels a convincing W would be great for the LL and RPI moving forward but again, Ice sees the game being pretty close with the Engineers coming out on top.

Words Ice never thought he would openly type and truly get behind: LET'S ****ING GO RPI!

Ice Ice Baby . . . could be all the anall fixation lately that is draining K.

Don't look at me like that! Innocent,!

Bartman

Bartman is also really really rooting for the Engineers to eliminate the Gulls from the tournament, and has never swiped the Ice Bear, butt the images offered by Mach regarding the removal of the Union toy cannon is is now thankfully a distant memory......instead with the rising price of Turkey, the Engineers will actually be adding the Gulls to an early Thanksgiving menu....RPI 20 Endicott 10

Bartman's favorite game will be the ASA BUSHNELL BOWL with an NCAA level matchup between 8-2 Westminster(Co-Champions of the Presidents Conference) and Hobart 8-2 (the only team to have beaten the LL Champ Engineers).....The passing game of Westminster against the stallions of the Hobart run game will end with a classic  long Boswell TD run and a Denham 2 Pt conversion for a 22-21 Hobart victory.

Good luck to both teams today.

Good luck to the Statesmen today....Alfred actually scrimmaged Westminster, which reportedly ended in a 7-7 tie. The Saxons then were mauled by Hobart. Obviously, 11 weeks later, a lot can change, but Pep is thinking Hobart will prevail, 24-13.
