Reg for one, has zero tolerance of any crying on a field of play.  There have been numerous occations where I tell people on my own team to "grow up and quit acting like a girl"
Crying just adds insult to injury.

Reg also tried this tactic at home with Mrs. Reg with the results not being positive.  It usually ends up with a day of no communication or worse, her taking the frustration out on me.

All hands meeting scheduled for 10am today.

Tough words coming from the guy who cried when they cancelled ALF.

Ok, I am going to get a little personal here-

Mrs. Reg and I had a discussion last night...not involving us that I need to take action on....

Here is the story.
MR has a younger brother (25) who is a graduate of ND.  He is very smart and has been working since graduation.  I don't know if he ever had a GF or if he is even interested in chicks.  He likes video games, computers and science.  He's not a bad looking guy either but a complete introvert. (the friend of a friend hook-up would be his only shot)
Reg thinks that his main problem is that he lives at home with his parents.....Dude, the "yeah I'm living at home to save up money" excuse only lasts for about a year max.

Reg needs advice on how to proceed....do I ask him if he likes girls?....do I tell him he needs to move out?....Do I have MR throw him out of the house for her parents?....

Should I even get involved?.....Why do I even care?....I care because it doesn't make sense to me.....What else to life is there besides trying to touch as much buried treasure as possible.

Can the LLPP offer up some advise?....

Reg, You're situation is somewhat unique.  Typically, I would hang with him, try to get him out and about.  But since they live in the middle of nowhere, mad far from you, I'd stay away.  He seemed like a cool dude.  Bought some sweet tequila shots for us at your wedding, but other than that, he might just be aesexual.  For some people, like 'Gro, it takes a while to understand how wonderful of a thing the buried treasure is.  You can't worship it until you've had enough of it. You have to try all the different brands.  But he'll taste the delicious breakfast once, get married, and never taste it again.  It's science.

Admit agreed completely until he began coaching girls gymnastics (long story involving lack of b-ball coaching positions and admit's severe disability related to saying no when teenage girls cry/beg) Anywhoo- it wasn't a normal day until one of 'em cried their eyes out, which generally led to several of them crying.  Admit has realized that crying/hugging is a mainstay of gymnastics.  Admit once said grow up/no more crying, and admit carried on a monologue with his athletes for the next 4 days.

As for the Bro-in law, my little bro was the same way- then my bro-in-law and I began taking him out and introducing him to women, and now the little bastard puts his elder brother to shame.    Just gotta give him that little nudge out of the nest.
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

Lewdogg, I like breakfast.

Reg, maybe you should talk to the kid, tell him he needs to get out of the house, do his thing. Coming from the parents of sis, he might not be as receptive. But get him out of the house... that's no fun.

Must be rough!  My folks made me pay rent during the summers when I came home.
