Quiznos? :D

Quail...

I'm gonna go on a mini rant here... Why is quiznos so expensive? is it the toaster oven? how much juice does that thing pull down per day?  I like the place, they have good sammiches... but for $8-10 I could have gone to Chili's where it's happy hour all day long.

anyone feeling me here?

Jonny Utah

Gro, Id say quiznos is twice as good as subway but only 1.5 times the price.

Reg, I put a little time into this tonight but I cant find past moneylines anywhere and Im not positive how to calculate a point spread into a money line but.......if you bet the moneyline on every underdog since the sweet sixteen you would be 6-8.

If you took every underdog with the points since the sweet sixteen you would be 9-5.

Now, lets say you put 100 bucks on every one of those games so far (28) I think youd be ok.

No idea, I've never eaten there, as far as I can remember.  :D

Most Subways have toaster ovens nowadays, so that can't possibly be it. My guess would be because it's new, and we are American, so we like new things and will pay more to seem hip.  ::)

My answer is Megan, incidentally.  :D :D :D

since my ESPN bracket kicked the bucket after round 2... I looked at the leaderboard and it all comes down to tonight.  Florida wins and the guy at #1 wins... but if UCLA wins, the guy in 4th place takes it... can you imagine watching a game w/ $10,000 on the line?

Re: Quizno's prices

It obviously can't be the advertising budget, they have some of the worst and most annoying ads I have ever seen. They definitely don't spend it on competent help, at least not at the place 3 blocks from school. Fortunately through a school discount card I get $1 of any size unlimited uses, so I just buy 2 smalls and for $4 I have a decent size sandwich. They are definitely 2X better than Subgay.

Ursula is one of those names that when a baby girl is named that she will either be super hot, a stripper,  or fat ugly trailer park slum.

There are a number of names like that, feel free to add your own but these are some that come to mind:

Kirsten, Tammy, Samantha, Princess, Precious (Never met one under 2 bills), Winona (never met a hot one), Kat (Never met a non-hot one...yet) etc.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

KR- does it damn me to list the ladyfriend's name?  Hers can definitely go either way.

Regulator

RE: Quiznos-Man do these guys make a great sub!...Gro, here is a suggestion for you.  Reg went online and signed up for specials and crap and usually gets some Save $2 on a combo coupons that he usually uses (you have to watchc the times you can use them, They may limit them to like after 3pm or something.
They are 2X as good as subway....but man do they make you pay!
RE; Junk mail  Anyone interested in finding out more about Reg
I.E.- SSN, Birthdate, Bank routing number, passwords, mothers maiden name, loan amount on his house, ETC)
Should just go through his weekly garbage....I swear that I get more junk mail than I get regular mail.....it has gotten so bad that I don't even open mail anymore!!!...and can't tell the difference between stuff that I am supposed to open compared to the stuff that is crap.
My Favorite is the the one that has blue pen cursive that was done by a computer that says "hey check this out" without a return address on it.....HOW IS THIS LEGAL!!!!

lewdogg11

Reg, being a former mailman, I HATE junk mail.  At my old apartment I never got squat.  But now that I have a house, it's like 'they've found me.  Some letters look all real, say 'Do NOT dispose' or 'Urgent Information', then you open it and it's either another credit card offer, life insurance, or property insurance.  Don't they think we already thought of those things BEFORE we bought the house?  Unreal.

Quiznos is good.  I don't think it's the best place ever.  But I like the toppins bar.  Their Red Vinagrette and chili sauce they have on the side are legit.  Fill up a little plastic cup with that stuff, and another with some banana peppers and jalepenos and you got your self a sandwich.

I was testing everyone last night with my UCLA and Under pick.  Everyone should know by now to pick the exact opposite.  Florida and the over baby!  That's what I had.  Nah, I didn't pick anything.

let it be known that Gro believe quiznos makes a great sub... and when Gro hits the powerball Gro will buy the company and rename it QuizGro's**.  I'm gonna sound like my parents here but "I remember when I could get lunch for about 5 dollars". Now places like quiznos and panera charge me closer to $10.

**QuizGro's will also overcharge. It's science.
