a NY Yankee fan (JT)
Admit wishes he had the power of smite...

Why smite?  JT's not smiting Red Sox fans in the LLPP.  JT was just mentioning what fair weather fans Braves are?  Hell, 1996 WS wasn't even a sellout until just before game time in Hotlanta.

It should be a good battle Sox vs. Yanks in '06, especially if Schilling is healthy.

Geez this talk is probably killing Gro.

Nah, Admit is a Twinks Fan-  But Cheerin for the Yanks is like pulling for the house in blackjack!
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

Apple Jack

AJ just got of an incredible boring supply chain mgmt class.  His class had a presenter from Dieago (the booze makers, captin, Guiness, smirnoff, smirnoff ice for the union guys, etc)...anyway he stated that they import 3 million barrels of crown royal into the us each year and 1 million barrels are consumed in texas....aj thought that was pretty funny and wanted to ask if the still market it with a cork in the bottle down there..."barkeep...leave the bottle"

AJ did take the chance to thank him for the key componet for car bombs and inquired about sponsorship for LLPP inc
On the run from johny law...aint no trip to clevland

Nah, the house can't buy your best card out from under your nose and then misuse them when it counts  :o

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

JT

JT's no bandwagon jumper.  He's been a Yanks fan since 73, when they sucked.  Was still a fan in the 80's and early 90's when they sucked again.

Knightstalker

Knightstalker is with JT, KS has been a yankees fan since the late sixties when they sucked.  The only other baseball team KS has ever even liked is the Pirates and that was because of Willie Stargell, KS's second favorite player ever behind Thurman.

Thurman was JT's favorite player even though he could be a mean SOB at times.  When JT was kid he tried getting Thurm to come over before the game and sign a ball.  Munson told young JT to go F himself.  Knowing Munson's rep, JT was actually kinda a proud. JT hustled back to his seat and boasted to his Dad that Thurman told JT to go F himself... personally.

JT eventually got Thurman's autograph at a charity function about a year before Munson died.

union89

No shiznit, a young U89 cried when Munson died....U89 was a catcher growing up and loved Fisk....Munson was cool because he always looked like he rolled out of an all night/morning drinking session and strapped on the shin guards.  The Yanks suck the high, hard one for any number of reasons, but mostly for f'ing up the Spaceman's career.  U89 still hates Bucky "F'ing" Dent........cried again when that ball went over the Monster.

LD, can you clue 'Gro in on above info.  He probably thought the Colonie Yankees were major league.

'gro

I'd rather watch the 6th round of the NFL draft than any baseball game played in April.... and I probably will.

Touchdown Tommy

Gro you are a crazy kat.  Opening Day of baseball season is one of the greatest days of the year (in TDT's opinion better than the Super Bowl, Final Four, and most other big days sans Sunday at The Masters and a couple other exceptions).  Now TDT readily realizes that he will be taking lots of ish for this comment.  Bring it on biatches.

LD, Jonny, U89: Do the Sox open up at Fenway today? or next week sometime?  Also, TDT was curious if any of you fellas have sat up on the Monster in those new seats yet?  I know they go for premo dollah bills but also realize how well connected LLPP Inc is.  TDT has had excellent luck grabbing phenomenal box seats from a scalper right after you exit the Subway at Kenmore.
Chasing MILFs since '82...

wow!
A guy doesn't check in for two  days and you guys go and put up about ten pages.  Nice!

TDT, the sox have their second series of the year starting today at Baltimore and then have their home opener next tuesday vs. Toronto.

If had standing room up atop the monster and I do like watching games from there.  I actually dont really like going to too many redsox games as the seats are still way too small.  They also have the highest ticket prices in the league for the 9th year in a row and they sell out the first day they sell tickets on the phone or internet.

Best bet if you want to scalp tickets though is to wait till the second inning in the area just where you said TDT.  Although I have some great underworld contacts that I have on speedial for those occasions as well.

'Gro doesn't like beisbol because he sucks at it.  I mean, he was a lifeguard who couldn't swim, a soccer player who tackled people, and had a roommate who couldn't read.

Basically, the kid has issues.

Since JT has been dabbling in ticket brokering he's discovered that except for family heirloom season tickets (dugouts, homeplate, near the bags) and corp seats, Fenway is the most brokered ticket in baseball.

Gro can swim, he just retired during one football season when the head trainer made us do like 6 laps and Gro barely made it through alive. After that, it was me and the other Gro's chilling in the shallow end!

The rest of LD's quote is true.
