This is Admit's last post.......before he unleashes the fury of karma on y'all.  Being of unsound mind and sound body (God Bless this spring break-Not EASTER, dammit-these are public schools), admit will proceed with this final B.S. post before he buys a round of K for all.
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

With gas at $2.65 in Iowa KR assumes it's buttloads more expensive on the east coast.

$2.84 here

$2.49 in Jersey City

$2.85 here in Boston....U89 may need to drive down to Jersey City to fill up.

LD11 isn't quite sure as he hasn't paid for gas in 2 years, but he believes gas is in the $2.80 range around here.  Suckas.

To the Boston boys, I know it's a little early but LD11 will be making the trip North for the last weekend in April to see a band called Ten Mile Tide playing at the Common Ground in Allston.  They are a legit band from San Fran that LD11 and friends have had many a crazy night with.  After party with the band is gonna be at my boys house in West Newton.  Come 1 come all.  Check out there website to hear some tunes.  I'll mention it as the date gets closer but you should come out for a fine fine delicious beer, and for U89, a tasty Zima with a green Skittle dropped in.

Reg ~
U89 would expect nothing less!!  How did you chisel the marble countertop with a phillips head thought??

It's not Marble, it's granite.....And I cheated and used the phillips head to cut the stone and an old toothbrush to bullnose polish the edges

RE: Boston carwashes

Boston is a town of few carwashes, but the ones that you can find are big/full services ones with a lot of services.  Allston/Brighton happens to be the mecca of carwashes,  Cambridge St and Market street have two good ones like the one LD spoke about.

RE: Gas

You guys still pay for gas?  I have a good syphon that I can lend people if they need it.  (FYI-SUV's have larger gas tanks than many light trucks)

U89, I havent been to Worcester since the 1996 ECAC championship where the Lancers fell to the Bombers in one of the wierdest football road trips the bombers had ever seen.

ok guys high gas prices suck, but what is it really costing you over a year?  $300-$800 extra dollars. Not chump change by any means, but Gro's point is that we (Gro included) bitch and moan about gas prices... then drop $150 on a thursday night because your friend just broke up with his girlfriend and you want to cheer him up.

And think of all the boxes of Kraft mac and cheese you're eating... you could save $0.85 a box on the store brand... no, no no... nevermind... the store brand gives Gro the runs ya heard??

bottom line... gas prices, not that big of a deal.

Garnet

Gallon of gas at the nearest station to Garnet's house, $2.95/gallon self serve. Full serve, $3.15.  Who is that lazy that they would pay up that much not to get out of the car.

$2.95 is not that big a deal when you consider what some people pay for bottled water!

Gro,
Here is a list of things KR learned during President Bush's brief visit to Des Moines Tuesday. The motorcade passed right by KR's school and apartment.

Here are some things I learned yesterday:
1.  It is not ok to stand in the middle of the roadway and ask the presidential motorcade to "Stop in the name of Love"
2.  It is not ok to run alongside the presidential motorcade tapping on windows asking if anyone has any grey poupon.
3.  It is not ok to ask a secret service agent to hold your beer so you can use your free hand to hold onto a street sign while peeing down the culvert.
4.  President Bush does not want to donate to the "Buy KR a 30 of Hamm's fund"
5.  Saying "its ok, I'm a deer hunter" is not enough to convince a swat team member to let you "play with" his automatic weapon.
6.  It is not ok to play chicken with the presidential motorcade.
7.  No one in the presidential motorcade wants to buy today's issue of the Des Moines Register
8.  It is not ok to ask a secret service agent if President Bush wants to sign your butt.
9.  The secret service guys (who were surprisingly plump) do not want to race.
10. Attempting all of the above in one day gets you a private 3 hour meeting with three secret service agents in a dark room downtown with no lights.

Bubba died in a fire and his body was burned pretty badly. The morgue
needed someone to identify the body, so they sent for his two best
friends, Daryl and Gomer.
The three men had always done everything together.

Daryl arrived first, and when the mortician pulled back the sheet, Daryl
said, "Yup, his face is burnt up pretty bad. You better roll him over."
The mortician rolled him over, and Daryl said, "Nope, ain't Bubba."
The mortician thought that was rather strange.
Then he brought Gomer in to identify the body. Gomer took a look at the
body and said, "Yup, he's pretty well burnt up. Roll him over." The
mortician rolled him over and Gomer said, "No, it ain't Bubba."
The mortician asked, "How can you tell?"

Gomer said, "Well, Bubba had two assholes."
"What? He had two assholes?!" said the mortician.
Yup, everyone knew he had two assholes.
Every time we went to town, folks would say,
" Here comes Bubba with them two assholes ."
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

It should take more than two hours to get through all the pages.  This has been the source of many of Garnet's contributions to the LLPP.

Enjoy!

This one got a good laugh out of Reg.
Is it wierd that Reg has lived 30 mins from the capitol for 3 years and has not done the touristy thing once?  I did go for the "White House christmas tour" and by chance got to see the presidents dawg take a dump on the front lawn.  That was sweet....but the only beef I had was that the guards wouldn't let me pick it up "for a souveneer"

Tomorrows a holiday right? because Gro still doesn't know if he has to work....

Garnet

Garnet watches CNBC all day long due ot the nature of his business.  Chris Jansing just did a report.  For those of you who were in Schenectady back in the mid eighties, you might remember her as Chris Kopostachi (sp?) from WNYT Ch.13 NBC in Albany.

She looked better on TV than this picture.
