Then again, they do have some stoooopid bastards out on Long Island.  U89 lived out there for 4 years and had to seriously dumb it down!!

I can't see how there could be no kids going from the island to the institute. RPI recruits pretty well down there. This is a zen tatic by coach king to give a false sense of calm to the dutchmen.

For all those into dream analysis, U89 had a crazy dream last night....this is true.

U89 was attending a fraternity party at some unknown residence.  Suddenly all the LLPP regulars arrived.  Garnet was there looking like Garnet.....JU & Reg were there, but U89 has no idea what those dudes look like.  Here's the wierd part.....LD11 & 'Gro arrived late...U89 met LD11 at Shoezapalooza last year and has seen a picture of 'Gro but both dudes were radically changed.  LD11 showed up and was a dead ringer for Opie from the O&A show.  'Gro showed up and was still a brother but he had short straight black hair, with yellow highlights and tips........

Very strange.....

Apparently the Green Turtle is no longer the hot spot around where I live.  Reg has been flying solo this week bc Mrs. Reg was visiting family.....since I started talking to myself in the 3rd person.....I decided to head to the bar.

Typically, this is one of those bars that is packed to the max with all these hot HS and a little older chicks...and they aare all trying to out"grind" each other on the dance floor.....

Reg gets there around 11:30pm and it looks like a freaking doodfest....an old dood fest (like 35-40) with a few trashy chicks thrown in. 

Reg was very upset that the normal crowd wasn't there and I am guessing that the place must have gotten in trouble for allowing minors in.

Audino's a good coach, and he's probably a decent guy. But his approach to recruiting was rediculas. Same goes for coach Brown. For the record:

Gro applied and was accepted to Union
redshirted in 97 (RPI win), but went 2-2 verses the evil empire (98-01)

Dino took over for the 1992 season and promptly went 6-3 (RPI opened up a can of whoop asss at the U on homecoming), and followed up in 1993 with an undefeated season with 9 or 10 wins. 

Never got recruited by Dino, but Bobby can see how he turns some people off.  That first season was a bit of a culture shock for those who played under Bags the year before.  Once bobby got to know him, bobby could play for him and respect him.

But honestly, bobby looked at Alfred, Cortland, Ithaca, SLU, and Union, and most coaches are salesmen.  Bags was pretty blunt, but Butterfield was so blunt, that it was almost rude.  Butterfield pretty much told bobby that all freshmen would play freshman ball, period.  With that, he turned bobby over to some other coach and that was the last bobby saw of the man.
