Re: Jamaican me crazy

I too have heard of the powers of the island natives... particularly from people who went there on spring break. Island dudes will hang at the bar/club and keep a low profile while spring breakers mack/CB eachother... once it's last call and the ugly lights come on, they make their moves... using their foreign accents and charm like lead weights attached to the panties... it's only a matter of time before they drop.

Wait, I've seen this game before. Low profile, strange accent... LEWDOGG!!

Read LD11's Book of Mackin' Hoes Chapter 62-Last Call-Last Shmall!!!

tmerton, are you a ND grad or just a fan?

Is it safe to answer that here?  ND grad and ND dad - and soon to be a Johnnie dad as well.

That's what funny about ND....
Once someone in a family graduates from there....it spreads throughout the family like rabies.....MrsReg is a grad along with 8 cousins, uncles aunts....that all started with the GrandpaMrsReg.

It's funny bc every year we put money into the lottery for FB tickets and never score any.  GrandpamrsReg puts money in....and ends up 15 rows back on the 50.

I had cousins from both sides of my family at ND when I was there - it started with a great grandfather who attended when they also ran what amounted to a high school program (1800s).  ND also admits a larger percentage of legacies than any other school (over 15%) - though that certainly doesn't guarantee admission, as one of my cousins learned recently.

Tickets are a crapshoot; even Sorin Society membership doesn't guarantee tickets.

...yes, if one doesn't cough up the $, they're a crap shoot. We seem to get a pair for every game we apply to...usually 7-8/year. This makes for trades to get the better games...had to trade 3 pair last year for 1 block of 4 together for USC game.

ND has a nice little cottage industry in the ticket lottery business. Applicants sent a check in way ahead of time, ND puts all the money ina short term investment, then only grants about 10% of the requests (and refunds the losers). With the millions coming in, they do alright on the interest earned.

RPI should consider this approach.................

Can't say that I'm a big fan of ND, but I'll let you (and Mrs. Reg) slide.

Well, there are worse things - a few anyway.

Garnet saw this on some other board and immediately thought of U89 and LD11.

RT: Did Leinart get in?

Since RT was looking straight at him, it was hard to determine what crosses the plane on close plays. What WAS evident was a couple of things...Reggie Bush pushing Leinart in, and on the 4th and 9 pass play, it looked from RT's vantage point on the field that the WR fumbled the ball forward out of the endzone.

Just an FYI: TDT broke down and went to his local theater (6.50 for a matinee) for United 93.  While some may claim that Hollywood is trying to capitalize on this tragedy and no one really knows what happened up there that fateful morn, TDT thought it was extremely well done.  Not a movie you will see more than once because it leaves an incredible impression on you and there weren't too many dry eyes in the place.  Highly recommend that members of LLPP Inc go see this.  Puts everything in perspective and certainly makes TDT appreciate everyone/everything he has in his life.  Those men who took down the terrorists and stormed the cockpit were obviously extremely heroic and that should never be forgotten.  PS- One of them prominently featured was Johnnie alum and former QB, Tom Burnett.

LD11, how was the shindig on Friday night??

U89 went out on a 1st date with a lady he met the week before.  The week before she was HOT!!  This past Friday she was marginal at best with no ass whatsoeva.....U89 is usually disappointed with second dates when he is under the influence of alcohol upon the first meeting.

U89: Yea Paps has been off the hook so far on TDT's fantasy team.  Cruisin along in 1st place on the backs of Schilling, Maddux, and Paps...oh and having Pujols doesn't hurt.

U89, spelling don't count in the LLPP, grammar neither. Best of luck w/ the strobe light honey.

Just recieved confirmation from the resident med student:  The article is legit and staring at women's chests is actually good for your cardiovascular system.

Story Time...

Poor lil 'Gro has been in the "real world" of full time employment for 4 years now. That's as long as Gro spent in college, and now he is depressed. That's not even my story.

I remember being a young intern and noticing 2 things about the people who worked there. Their email inbox was always full, usually with unread messages. At the time the only email I ever got was from Reg or LD (who interned at the same company) describing some hot girl in their building or the dump they took that morning... and you know I'm going to read and reply to those emails.

secondly, people worked late... like after 5, sometimes 6. This was unheard of at the time. And this is when those people usually caught up on emails.

Long story short today I realized that I have become "that guy".

lewdogg11

'Gro - Maybe if you spent more time cleaning out your emails, and less time posting on d3.com, you wouldn't have to be 'that guy'....hmmmmmm?

U89 - The show Friday was amazing.  I was blacked out and dancing like a Monkey.  WTFF was asleep at the bar, but awake at the hotel....atleast i think she was awake at the hotel...not that it matters....

TDT - based on your comment about United 93, I've watched the TV version twice in the past few days, and it pisses me off.  It just gets me angry.  But does anyone else have the same conspiracy theory as me that the plane was shot down conveniently in a field in PA?  There isn't much of a doubt in my mind.  Not trying to start a political argument, just my take.  And the government has done it's best to glorify the guys taking over the cabin to overlook any skepticism.

'gro

There's too many emails to clean... too many distribution lists... too many 2MB attachments (that's the real problem, hate when people do that).

LD, I heard the government sent a probe to uranus.
