So LD11 got the call on Friday that he is needed in Houston on Wednesday...today.  So I got up before the butt crack of dawn, flew here, and I have a meeting in a few hours, then I'm flying back tonight.  WTF? 

I keep making myself giggle though because I keep saying in my best General Zod voice, 'So this is Planet Houston'.  i don't know how it translates in text, but man am I laughing my bag off. 

All there are in Texas are steers and queers.

Back to the Sopranos......

Im gettin into this last season (thanks to on demand) and Ive realized a few things about the show.....

-The actors are horrible.  The kid who plays A.J. might be the worst actor I've ever seen.  Meadow's boyfriend isnt far behind followed by "jonny hotcakes" and Meadow herself.

-The fight scenes are worse.  Anyone see the episode where Tony beats up his bodyguard?  Horrible directing.  I even thought Tony set up the fight in the first place just to show hes tougher.

Tony did fight his bodyguard for no reason, he wanted to show everyone he was still tough after getting shot.

I don't know if it's bad acting (well the boyfriend is terrible) but I'm just not interested in "save the world" meadow or "woe is me" AJ... if they are trying to act like whiny kids, they've got it nailed.

I wasn't a big fan of the whole coma sequence... I'm sure there's some deep philosophical points tied into it, but who cares... it was pretty boring.

No I knew he beat him up just to show that he was tougher, but the directing was so bad, the fight looked like it was set up or fake. 

Im not into the kids at all either.  Im still hoping for the big heist to happen.  If AJ wants to get invoved in the heist thats fine but I want a heist.

Also, did anyone think Tony or Chris got shot when they robbed those bikers in that scene?  Another time where I just get confused as to what happens sometimes on that show.  I thought Tony was going to do the old "jeeze, my ankle hurts.....hmmmm whys my pant leg all wet down there.......**** I think Ive been shot!!!!" routine....

Yeah I thought the same thing with him maybe being shot.....something else with that whole thing with the stolen wine, it seemed to me like he was never sure if the wine was good or not as he kept making faces everytime he was taking a swig...... was it me or did it seem like that to you also??
