Drake

Enjoyed the article, but about 2 paragraphs into it Gro already hated the 3 guys they were profiling. Complete tools. And the author is acting like he's discovered this underground society of wingman. it's simple, a little teamwork goes a long way.

On a similar note, LLPP deserves a seat on the Miller Light man laws square table.

Good call Gro....

JT

JT just went to grab a sammich and overheard two women talk about veal as he was leaving the deli:

Woman 1: Yeah, but its milk fed veal.

Woman 2: Who cares what the veal's eat.

Woman 1: Its a baby cow

Woman 2: Well is it a baby cow or a veal?

Woman 1:  They are the same thing

Woman 2: I still don't care what the veal's eat, what does it taste like?

Woman 1: Chicken

You know what Reno hates about Sports?

When its not on TV

Correction Reno.......we have had this conversation in LLPP a couple of times.  The worst is when a sporting event is on pedestrian TV but not HDTV.....this now gives U89 a headache.

It's Science....

CRT's, Rear projection and old fashion sports programming are a thing of the past at REGS HOUSE.

If I had a High Def subscription to MTV and a Plasma with an HD tuner on the boat, life would be complete.  PS- the dood next to me at the marina has Directv, but only at the dock.  I am no "pier person" so I would want someting I could use at anchor.

Was there no new Soprano's this week.....U89 missed Sunday night and wanted to watch last night, but it was a repeat of Christopher's girl getting preggers.

PROGRAMMING NOTE........
Tonight there is an 'Office' Mararthon of the 4 best episodes....U89 has never seen the 'Office', so tonight he will see what all the LLPP clammor is about.

Regulator

U89-  Thanks for the programming update.  I will be sure to catch the Office since I missed a few of them due to the power being out.

Could the LLPP please listen to the song "perfect gentlemen" by Wyclef and let me know what you think.  You really have to listed to it....
Sounds very similar to the song "I'm N Luv"

RE: The Office

Oh man, that was some funny ish.....I like the one where he is at Chili's.  "I want my babybackbabybackbabyback....." and I have never laughed harder at the show as when they were reading Michaels play and "Dwigt" didn't get picked up by "Replace With" in Microsoft word.  Or how about when Dwight gets the Ball popped in the beginning?

CLASSIC!

good stuff last night... U89 are you on board now? very akward comedy you have to pick up the little things to appreicate (sp) it.

on the comedy tip... has anyone ever watched "last comic standing"? It's funny (obviously) but there's 2 things I don't like about it.

1. I've seen some of these guys before, they've had their own specials on TV, and now they are trying to "make it big". I don't get it.

2. The problem with this show is that comedians have a routine. So they show these guys audition, then they perform later and do the same jokes, then they make it to the next round and do the SAME jokes.

lastly, I propose an open mic session at Shoesapalloza for music, comedy, juggling, whatever.

Gro, Im a big fan of that show too.  I know what you mean about the same joke thing too.  Past shows have gotten tedius because of all of the same jokes. I think they try to edit it though so that they only show a few jokes for each person on each show.

I used to watch Gary Gullman at the comedy connection when he used to open up for dane cook before either made it big (for cook at least).  All of his jokes were the exact same on the show though and it got boring.  The second season was also fixed as Jay Mohrs and Gary Gulmans agent was the producer of the show so I guess the votes didnt count or something like that.

They have been running the last 3 episodes in a row over the last week, as this weekend is the last episode for the season.  Next year will be the LAST 8 episodes..forever

JT

So JT was checking on a job with one of the laminators we use.  The receptionist answers and it sounds like she's been smoking unfiltered cigs since she was 6.  Well the dude JT needs to talk to isn't available, so JT politely tries to leave a brief message with a little detail.  This way a callback to JT comes with needed info, instead of extra back and forth.

In mid-speak receptionist tells JT to relax.... ie she's just taking my number and not any message.  Customer service at its best.

Its Friday and JT isn't in the mood.  "Look.... this is what I need to know.  Take it down and pass it along BEFORE you take your next cigarette break."  I can easily move the work to laminator B."  Slam!!!

Outside of the LLPP, JT hates people.

PBR...

ah yes, JT customer service at its finest!! seems anymore you get people who could care less about helping you or do nothing but give attitude. pbr needs a pbr at noon on this glorious summer friday!!
