Ok, its time for some redsox facts of life again.....

1) Matt Clement should be released immediatly.  Don't put him on the DL, dont put him in the bullpen.  Release him now.  His carrer is over and he has cost the redsox games this year and thats a fact.  (The redsox still couldnt hit last night so its not totally his fault)

2) I like Willy Mo Pena, but that trade was a bad move.  Aroyyo should be the #4 starter for the redsox right now and thats the end of it.

3)  Keithe Foulke should be sent to Pawtucket and become a starter for the rest of the season unless the Red sox are eliminated.  Then he can start up here.  This year is Foulkes last chance before he goes to the "matt clement money pit".

4)  Tavares, Alverez and Seanaz should be shot.  Thats correct, not traded, not released but shot and hung on the rafters of the Citgo Sign in Kenmore square for all future redsox relief pitcher busts to see.

5) The same lineup should be used the rest of the year...

1- 1b: Youkoulis
2- 2b: Loretta
3- Dh: Ortiz
4- LF: Ramirez
5- 3b: Lowell
6- CF: Crisp
7- RF: Nixon
8- C: Varitek
9- SS: Gonzalez

If Crisp or Lowell dont start hitting they should drop.  Im not a huge Varetek fan but I think Nixon is going to have a good year this year.


And.....Green monster seats go for $75 at the beginning of the season and if you have a few people dialing with a good redial button, you can usually get 10 or so seats during the season.  I did that a few years ago when the seats were $50 and standing room was $25.

Well, I think Francona is watching LLPP because he made the first move I suggested and thats Youkalis leading off and crisp batting down the bottom of the order.  Nixon is on fire, let him stay at 5th and crisp is just fine at 6th or 7th.

LL'ers...Thought you guys might like this Linfield video clip from back in the day.  In 1989 Linfield was hosting The Pacific University Boxers in a tight game. A Linfield's cornerback picked off a pass and was racing up the Boxer sideline when a reserve O-linemen for the Boxers came off the bench and made a crushing TD-saving tackle.

Since Detroit and the other Sox have better records than your Sox by 5.5 and 4.0 games respectively.

Interesting your laugh at the notion of the AL central being strong, they have a 6-3 record against your boys this year including being swept by the 3rd place team in the division, not to mention, our current 2nd place team won the World Series last year.

You're right, there is no argument, the AL central is clearly the strongest division not only in the AL but in all of MLB.

If the Twins sucking means sweeping back to back series, they can suck all the way to the playoffs as far as I'm concerned.

Your claiming that the Central is week because the Tigers are leading it makes as much sense as claiming the NFC West is strong because the 49ers are in it. Both arguments would have held water if it was still 1990.

I'm a Packers fan, not a Vikes fan but thanks for the effort. Before you even rip on the 4-12 season, I never said the Packers were the sh*t, in fact I'll admit they're in a slump that could take years to come out of.
Not sure what the hell last season's NFL results have to do with this year's baseball season, but if knowing the Patriots made the playoffs before getting sent home by Jake the Snake makes you feel better, run with it for all its worth.
