By the way, that big paycheck  (by big, I mean approximately the amount that many of y'all recieve monthly!) tempts the hell out of a guy as it sits in the checking account... This as I get up at 4 AM 4 days a week to shingle houses so I can pretend I'm making as much as an engineer/software analyst/marketing consultant

Actually, I do love my job, but if some 40 year old hot-ass millionaire widow wanders through town, I call dibs!
My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

JA, Question-

Reg has some lighter grey shingles that have some staining on the shady side of the house.....almost looks like very dark rust streaks that I have tried to take off with everything.  Question #1- Do you know what this is?  Q#2- Is there a way to remove it? Q#3 If I cannot remove it with anything, is it possible to shingle over the existing shingles one time OR do I have to strip the old ones off first?

UPBR-
Question....
What kind of damage did they hit you with for the AC?

'gro

Reg, I have this brown streak in my toilet bowl... it kinda makes a spiral pattern... any idea where this came from?

Regulator

That is typically caused by little kids playing with crayons.....in your case I am guessing they chose "burnt sienna" and drew in your toilet.

Am I warm?

Re: Brown streak
Those darn kids and their crayons.  "cray-ons" or "crans"?  'Gro says "crans".

Re: getting paid once a month

Didn't notice it much when I was renting. After purchasing a home and your housing costs double... yeah that was fun. It's exactly as Reg described. 1st week you live like a king. 2nd week you hold back a little. By the 3rd week all of your bills (car, house, ins, p0rn memberships, etc) have kicked in and you wonder if you'll make it to... The 4th week, you eat saltines and that can of corn that's been in your pantry since 2002.

reg i got slapped for $300 clams....turned out mice made a nest in the outside pump and the little b@stards chewed thru the wiring harness and ended frying themselves and babies et al  since they then became the arc...also had the guy do a full check up and cleaning since he was out there already. reg you also might want to consider power washing the stains off if you can reach it. i know around where i live you have to check with local townships on whether they allow to you shingle over and existing roof or whether you have to tear it off they are all different around here. some are concerned with fire since shingles are really difficult to put out once on fire...

Stupid rodents. Seems they got into and gnawed the air filter in my aging 1992 Grand Caravan...cost me $10 or so to replace. Is there any way of collecting rent from rodents?

I, too, have had children using their Crayolas in my toilet....seems brown is their favorite color, even though they know that I bleed purple.

This is the greatest demise of a franchise in the history of professional sports. At least Steinbrenner can buy a championship. Dolan (owner) can't even buy 30 wins, he needs to go. Isaiah is just a pawn -- a stupid pawn -- in Dolan's evil empire. I hope they win 9 games next year.

Ugh!  I kept telling people they'd miss Ewing when he was gone.  Not his fault that he played in the same era as Michael.

Not a bad payday for Brown $50 mil for one year... Tom Cruise just has to make two crappy movies a year for that.

Won't cost James Dolan a extra dime he'll just raise cablevision rates.  4,000,000 subs give or take x $1.50 = $6,000,000 x 12 mo = $72,000,000.  See he can be a horrible owner and still profit on lousy decisions.  Why does JT have to pay?

Time to call Direct TV.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

James L. Dolan (born 1956) is Chairman of New York City's Madison Square Garden in the United States, as well as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cablevision Systems Corporation. He's had numerous feuds with his father, Charles Dolan regarding the ownership and financial stability of Cablevision.

James Dolan is infamous for his stewardship of Madison Square Garden's teams, the National Basketball Association's New York Knicks and the National Hockey League's New York Rangers, which has resulted in economic success but competitive failure on a grand scale. Particularly galling to Knick fans was Dolan's decision to give Allan Houston a 6-year contract for $100 million 2001. Houston retired due to injury after just four seasons, and the Knicks only reached the playoffs once over the duration of his expensive contract.

Dolan also purchased The Wiz, a faltering New York-based electronics store, but failed to sustain it despite heavy cross promotion with Cablevision's popular Optimum Online service.

Nobody beat's the Wiz, nobody.  When they opened a Wiz (hehe) in crossgates mall in Albany they had Patrick Ewing and (former crappy NY Giants QB) Dave Brown signing autographs.  The line for Ewing went back and forth through the entire mall. Little 'Gro did not get in line he just walked by the table for a peek at the big guy.
