Former Union assistant and WPI head coach Kevin Morris was named the head coach at UMass.

He recruited me heavily at WPI.  He was a pretty good guy.  Good for him!

Yea I knew him when he was at Northeastern.  Really good guy and we used to talk a lot about d3 football.

This is what happens in Wilmington when it snows(It hasn't snowed here since 2003)

HS girls run around the beach in bikinis...

Isn't life grand?

and soon the 5-0 was chasing LD after the girls said "officer...like some old guy over there keeps staring at us and taking pix w/ his cell fon..."

Is it easier or harder for gro to get to work?  Are there less people on the roads, or do they just lose their minds and crash into each other.

Ice storms and snow was hi-larious back when JT lived in Dallas. These people couldn't drive in the ish at all.  Multiple car pileups would be all over the place.

Gro travels.  LD works from home.  Gro might be in a median strip somewhere.  Im sure someone in Nooga forgot which side they were supposed to drive on on the highway and Gro pulled a James Bond maneuver landing him in the median...

Gro works in manufacturing, gotta be at the plant bright and early... yabba dabba dooo!

Travel was not so bad this week with the snow flurries but there was less people on the road. Rain is what kills me... it's like people have never seen rain before!

no rain = drive 85 mph (gro is ok with that)

rain = drive 80 mph = ditch (this, not so much)

Tags moved to Houston from Roch in October. When it snowed here (November maybe?), everyone went outside and took pictures with their cell phones, and immediately got on the horn.

Unreal.

a little fumble on the speech...but low and behold we have a new prez and america is still standing...a meteorite hasnt hit...armageddon isnt here....rush limbaugh, sean hannity et al are still waiting for a lightning bolt or some other gathering storm to prove they are right... ::)

EDIT: +k to joseph lowry hilarious ending to the  benediction

any time I see the word bennediction, I think of my old uncle argyle

Uncle Argyle: Did the priest give a poetic benediction? "The Lord bless thee and keep thee...?
Young 'Gro: It was in Latin.
Uncle Argyle: You don't speak Latin? Well that's something we shall have to remedy, isn't it?

"They are singin outlawed tunes on outlawd pipes."

Now that is !@*%$# music!

a Five Guys just opened up near where gro works, and you would think they are slinging crack from the way people pack this place. They make a good burger, but my buddy said the wait time was almost 20min from the time you walk in the door to the time you are handed a greasy paper bag.  Everyone goes crazy when a new restaurant opens. Gro is considering opening up a Big Kahuna Burger franchise.

Mmm-mmmm. That is a tasty burger.

DUDE!  LD11 loves him some Five Guys burgers.  Unfortunately, I feel like they are like 4000 calories so I havent eaten one in like a year.  It's almost time to open the flood gates and get one...Those fries, with the delicious cajun seasoning, and the little bowls of ketchup, and the balsamic vinegar....mmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

'gro

right on LD. love the restaurant, hate the long lines. There's one closer to my house and it's nowhere near as packed.

p.s. the cajun fries are a must.

p.p.s. "no onions on a burger!"

p.p.p.s I wouldn't be suprised if one burger w/ fries is equal to 3 days worth of calories.
