So, I haven't checked this board in a couple of weeks, but I see you guys are still trying to track down the sniper.

Of all the names you guys have thrown out there, you haven't mentioned the person who I believe is the sniper once. I doubt that person has ever posted here.

You'll need to stalk pretty late at night to catch them. They're not in your time zone.

How about Oxybob? (I haven't seen his name at all mentioned)  He has had some arguments with some East Regioners on the politics board.

And I seem to be one of the guys who gets dinged..

There are over 180 posts on D3Boards.com that include the term "Karma".  That does not include the posts that have +K, -K or just K.  I haven't found a way to search for those yet.

People are throwing around trillion like its an amount gro has in his lumpy mattress:

1 trillion dollars  = $100 dollar bills stacked on top of each other would be 689 miles high

1 trillion dollars = $100 dollars bills end-to-end would wrap around the equator 38.9 times (969,065 miles)

Can't just spend it and hope for the best.  It has to actually work.

PBR & the LLPP- I understand the whole executive cap is a good thing, but $500k is a really big swag for some of these guys!!
I see this having a large effect of companies being able to pull out of this slump, due to senior leadership jumping ship early. (no direction, uneasy feeling with employees, etc)  Why would any of these guys stick around for $500 large a year?  The way I see it, they could jump to a better paying job elsewhere, even if it means taking a lesser position.

Thoughts?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama kicks off a campaign on Wednesday to rein in corporate compensation with rules limiting executive pay to $500,000 a year for companies getting taxpayer bailout funds in the future.

Barney Frank thinks non-bailout companies should have caps too.

my biggest fear right now is the dow index...all the support levels are at just above 7400. we close below there and it will quickly tumble to 6000, everyone knows and see's the support levels. bunch of big eco numbers due out tomorrow, we could be there before you know it. pbr's company for the first time in its history laid people off yesterday. not a good feeling and has people walking on egg shells in a big way

I think it is time for some serious undercover shiznit to catch this serious cornhole. The interesting thing is NO MATTER WHO this sniper is, when they are caught, they are going to have the entire LLPP fam all up on their board (whatever board they frequent) just hammering away. The time shall come boys, oh it shall come! On a serious note I send my regards out to the family of the Bart Lax player from Jersey. What a tragedy I am very sorry to hear about that.

PRESTON, England,  Feb. 5 (UPI) -- A 24-year-old man in Britain says a woman carved used a knife to carve tattoos into his flesh following a night of passion.
Wayne Robinson of the British county of Lancashire said he never agreed to be tattooed by Dominique Fisher following their one-night stand in the town of Blackburn, The Sun reported Thursday.
"I went to her place for sex, not to be tattooed. I look like something out of
the TV show 'Prison Break.' I can't believe she did this to me and I hate her," Robinson said of Fisher, who was convicted in relation to the crime.
Robinson admitted he didn't recall receiving the slashes on his shoulder and arm, nor the star design cut into his back.
"I can't believe I didn't wake up at the time. But to be honest I couldn't even remember having sex with her," he said.
The Sun said Fisher, who will be sentenced next month, maintained during her Preston Crown Court trial that Robinson had requested she give him the homemade tattoos.

The whole "no end in sight" is what has me concerned.  The news isn't helping anything either with their knee jerk reactions over everything.

At least psych's are doing well in this economy......

bill gross says we are teetering on a depression reg...start stuffing that money in a mattress or burying it in the backyard...

By Kathleen Hays and Dakin Campbell
Feb. 5 (Bloomberg) --  Bill Gross, co-chief investment
officer of Pacific Investment Management Co., said the U.S. may
slump into a "mini depression" unless policy makers spend
trillions of dollars to spur growth.
"This economy needs support from the government, a check
from the government in the trillions," Gross said today in a
Bloomberg Television interview from Pimco's headquarters in
Newport Beach, California. "There is a potential catastrophe if
the U.S. government continues to focus on billions of dollars."
Gross manages the $132 billion Total Return Fund, the
world's biggest bond fund. The fund gained 4.8 percent last year
and has outperformed 99 percent of its peers over the past five
years, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The average
government and corporate bond fund lost 8 percent in 2008,
Bloomberg data show.
Pimco is a unit of Munich-based Allianz SE, Europe's
largest insurer.
