Why regular LLPP'ers are so smart:

The Theory of Intelligence - by Cliff Claven

'Well you see, Norm, it's like this.  A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells.  But naturally, it attacks the slowest
and weakest brain cells first.  In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.  And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

It is actually quite mild here in the capital region today. A pleasant surprise to say the least ;D! Just finished ripping up three levels of bathroom flooring to find a subfloor in decent shape (happy I don't have to redo the entire thing!

*Union Skating Non-Scholarship Dutchmen take season series from the RPI Full-Scholarship Engineers AGAIN here in 09. If you told me 10 years ago that the U hockey team would be 7-1-1 against RPI over a 9 game stretch I would have told you you were ****ing crazy!!!

Non-Scholarship School!!!

TGP is feeling his age watching the grammy's.

A)  Coldplay (Want to know how I know you're.....?  How about giving the Beatles back their Sgt Peppers gear?)
B)  Stevie Wonder taking the stage with the Jonas Bros?!??!(F-ing disgraceful)
C)  Hip-Hop summit?  TGP doesn't get it.

2 positives:

A)  Robert Plant still writing good tunes 40 yrs in and
B)  This smolking hot and super talented guitarist (who is way too good/talented to play for Carrie Underwood):

Smelling like a pirate hooker and whore island should be easy to slip into a converstion.

95% of the dialog in that movie can be used in everyday conversation, the other 5% is dog barking and bear noises.
