saw scott van pelt of espn got suspended for calling bud selig a pimp and saying he was the worst commish ever and not near worth his 18.5mil/yr salary...pbr has heard worse stuff come out of sportscenter but guesses since espn has the baseball contract the suits at espn made him apologize and suspended him. shame how the media is handcuffed anymore...

Political correctness.  Gee, wonder what party started that.  Sorry couldn't resist  ;)

Ummm, the Pants Party?

nice...btw looks like sirius sat. radio is going the way of the 8 track playah...history...archives....say hello to echostar

It will survive just w/o Mel Karmazin.  People aren't buying cars so subs are way down.  Someone's got tell Howard he ain't worth 100 million a year.

negative karmazin and sirius are done...echostar or directv will buy them out. their debt ratio is astronomical and have no way to make it on their own. karmazin would be better than houdini to pull this one out. right now he is looking behind the scenes for the best shareholder value i.e. have directv bid up echostar for the company to get something for the shareholders

This honestly may be some of the stupidest shizz RT has ever  seen...

RT lived in Memphis for 2 years and this completely reinforces to RT why the mid-South is SOOO backwards. You'd think they'd spend cycles trying to bust actual criminals and not some college kids smoking some herb at a party (like 50% of college kids in America do). WTF.....

That's what JT meant.  JT didn't figure Karmazin could work his magic in Sat radio. And how could he pony up 100 mil a year for Howard?  Just crazy.

LD's lunch....

Yo, PBR-

How long until that fancy company of yours cuts out the free lunches as opposed to layoffs?

I can't say I would find your lunch as appealing if I was given a pink slip instead of a baby back rib.

Is it in your contract?

its just how pbr rolls....they will never cut out free lunches...trying moving a 1000 people out of the office over lunch hour and try getting them all back in...we would swamp all the local eateries to overflow daily. same reason pbr wears jeans and golf shirts/sneakers to work everyday...who needs suits/dry cleaning bills...waste of money and time

PBR, it is probably easier to bring in a cash register and place it at the end of the line than moving out 1000 people.  Thoughts?

PS- The total of your lunch today would be appx $7.25.  ChaCHING!

Most corporate cafs are subsidized, but not free.  Pbr has a good deal.  JT sometimes catches lunch at Pfizer in midtown.  About $4-5 for what would be a $12-15 lunch around town.

Because most companies are run by Idjits who get rewarded for losing money.

SRT picture does not do her/him justice.  RPI's president was just on CNBC and he/she is not nearly as good looking on TV as she is in RT's picture.

There gathering of evidence in the Duke case was both perceptive and spot on.... :-[
