....discuss.....

Um DUH!  They needed a study to realize this.

I concur with the above diagnosis! Why yes women in bikini's are objects, and there is nothing wrong with an object....is there?

What is the best tramp stamp seen by a LLPP'er?

Not a real life story, but this yellowbook commercial is LLPP-style rediculas. This Tom fellow has been staring down at the "Mike" tattoo whenever he engages in canine business activities and now little miss bride to be wants to get rid of it... why did she get it in the first place? No one gets a tramp stamp of a name. Maybe if it was written in chinese characters (and the year was 1998) it would be cooler.

I always enjoy reading the bible when I partake in 'canine' activities...

And as if her new fiance, Tom" wouldn't have seen that tattoo already.
He probably saw it after two mojitos on their first date.  He probably tried to 'dot the i" if you know what I mean.

Well I don't have much of a way of knowing if the # of interns offered is up or down.. In fact I am not sure if there might a wierd reaction by firms to hire the same if not more due to recent headcounts reductions.

Add the complexity of a short summer due to camp opening in mid August, the need to put a lot of workout time in for the senior season, attending practices on campus etc.  Plus I might even enjoy catching a few fish with him on vacation!

The candidate in question has been looking very hard but the news among his frends and teammates has not been too encouraging yet.  Unpaid is not preferable but we'll see how it plays out.  He is utilizing the CDC.  Just wanted to put out a feeler on the LLPP.

The Stim send out a shout to all LLPPer's ...   Keeping an eye on the board.

SRT to answer your question I have heard of a few recruits commit to RPI.  Think they have a few transfers as well.

Wondering if any of you gainfully employed especially in the Boston area have any inside scoop on summer internships?  Thought I would give you guys a try.. candidate is from RPI Mgt.... Deans list interested in marketing.

Just looking for leads for him to chase down.

what kind of computer skills does said candidate have?

Stim,

Have you or the candidate seen a decrease in the number of internships available?  Any lurking HR guru's that know if an intern counts as headcount?  (If they don't hire the intern through a contractor)

I can see in the current environment that any intern is going to have a very difficult time landing something this year, if they aren't doing it unpaid.

Is RPI providing any assistance from there CRC?

pbr will check around usually pbr's work hires them in droves will see in this economy what the deal-e-o is...

Don't let the wall win, you need to get back up on your barstool and beat that wall.

PBR I think we need to light the lamp early today.

Appropriate notifications will go out to all HR departments excusing LLPP members from work as the drinking lamp will be lit.

Last post on this topic.. in order not to clutter the board with personalized stuff.  If you have a lead or have a question comment e-mail me.. and my thanks in advance for considering the intern question.

Candidate has basic user computer skills Word, PP, Excel, Access, has taken one computer course at RPI that I know of.

You may return to the important things... scantily clad women, legacy rock figures, tramp stamps and bizarre scorned mistress retributions.  You never know what you will find on this site!

and 1 thing pbr concurs w/ LD is when drinking microbrews they provide a much more intense and longer lasting hang ovah then almost anythng out there pbr has found other than gin or tequila....pbr is not a fan of mixing microbrews usually ends in a night of driving the white porcelain bus or wicked hangovah the next day possible of 2 days that no ibuprofen/aspirin will cure

I am having a hard time recalling all of the beers consumed, but I can remember the following:

The Love  (Wheat Beer)
Sunset Wheat
Paulaner Hefeweizen
MGD 64
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Newcastle
Sam Adams Winter Lager
Wood Chuck Cider

I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.  Beef on Weck for lunch is on the horizon.

Touchdown Tommy

LewDogg,

Did you throw back some Italian Nachos while on the bender?  TDT would like to make sure the LLPP knows the greatness.  Like crack, only better!!!

Ferrari: Appreciate the link, TDT will be checking it out shortly.

Reg: Is that an actual picture of WTFF?  Priceless....

Beef on Weck is very condusive to more beer drinking.  How was the MGD 64?  Worth a try or stick to ML's?
