I forgot all about that series.  But I just watched it again and it is fascinating.  In part 3, the girl (a crack-whore) starts talking about how she went on a call with a guy, smoked some weed (so her head was then clear), and she made a list about how she was going to straigten out her life.  So Im watching and thinking...hmm ok good for this chick....then she pulls out the list and reads it off.  Here is exactly what is on that list in order of importance:

1- laundry
2- dates (to make money)
3- ultrasound
4- abortion
5- key
6- dentist (she has no front teeth)
7- mom
8- Get my stuff from Boos house
9- Get a job

Kind of sad but really a great thing to see how horrible drugs are.

Is Dicky still alive?  He would be 51 today if he is.  The guy fought a 10 round fight against Sugar Ray Leonard in 1976 (10 round loss by decision).  I forgot about that too untill I just watched how his mom held a "bail fundraiser" for Dicky at the Lowell VFW and charged $10 a pop to watch that taped fight on TV.  Then a fight broke out at the fundraiser!

Is that the Lowell Highlands that the movie was shot in?  I used to drive by Lowell Catholic on the way to "work" back in the day.  I thought that was like the southern part of the highlands right when you get off the highway north along Stevens St? to the river.

Yeah that is the stretch of the Highlands.  You should read Micky's book to see some of the other scummy things Dicky pulled.  Can't believe they even still speak.  They are training their nephew together now.
