dlippiel is very sorry to hear about the tough weekend, hang in man. dlippiel has a lot to learn about life but one thing he has learned so far is that when it rains it ****in poors so you just have to hold on and ride the tough times out. dlippiel sends his condolences to the family of the 13 yr old and hopes things work out for your college friend. dlippiel will say a prayer for both.

Yeah Dicky is still alive and causing trouble in Lowell.

Is that the Lowell Highlands that the movie was shot in?  I used to drive by Lowell Catholic on the way to "work" back in the day.  I thought that was like the southern part of the highlands right when you get off the highway north along Stevens St? to the river.

Yeah that is the stretch of the Highlands.  You should read Micky's book to see some of the other scummy things Dicky pulled.  Can't believe they even still speak.  They are training their nephew together now.

I must toss an intro smite...Not because of the post, but because of the email address...sorry.

And yes, in football season, 60% of the time, we talk football every time.

Mr. LL. Let me at least get you closer to zero K to start off.

Lewdogg is right, stick around to football season and the actual football posts will increase to at least 40% of the conversation. The worst thing you can do is say "no one here talks about football".  Just go ahead and ask your question.

Now, who will win the LL, has anyone NOT named Union, RPI, or Hobart ever won the LL or UCAA? Those 3 teams have been dominating the league for over a decade. I have no idea who is going to QB for RPI this year (where you at Stimulator?) but I'd put RPI on top of that list. No more of this Hobart crap.  As for Union: their players, fans, coaches, athletic trainers, equipment managers, cheerleaders, and student paper sportswriters can EABOD.

EDIT: Just checked the UCAA/LL championships since 1995 (14 seasons)
Hobart - 7
RPI - 5
Union - 4
All others - 0

Yea I want to read that book now.  Mark Wahlberg is playing Mickey Ward in a 2011 movie 'The Fighter'.  Christian Bale is going to play Dicky.  Brad Pitt was also considered for the part of Dicky I guess.  I bet Pitt would have been great at it.  Bale is a strange bird though too.  It looks like they are filming it in Lowell too.  Its a great story but Im not so sure about Wahlberg as Mickey.  I want to set the record for most short sentences in a paragraph.  Thank you for reading.  I am too lazy to smooth it out.  Here is the link:

u r correct KS....pbr is enjoying spending time w/ the kids more and more everyday. just want to throttle that a-hole who killed my friends daughter. she was doing nothing wrong other than sitting in a boat water skiing w/ friends and friends parents  at dinner time my friend gets a call from the coroner to come identify your daughter....witnesses every where said the driver of the other boat was screaming wide open up the river in and out of traffic and hits them head on and drunk as a skunk...just makes pbr so so angry...

Nice work, gro.

LL: The football talk will start pretty soon, but this board is probably the most interesting here... you learn a LOT of different things from a lot of different guys. Stick around, you'll enjoy it.
