Has anyone seen the craziness that has been Stephon Marbury this past weekend??

Didn't he blog or record himself ranting for an exorbant amount of time with multiple NBA owners watching? I read that he has lost his ****ing marbles. I knew this long ago the second he put on a knicks uniform but I guess it took this debacle for the rest of the world to realize. What exactly did he do, specifics?

And he's been EATING petroleum jelly....stating he wants to be like Oprah.

Gentleman, I did a little tooling around and found a few guys heading to Bart to play football:

Nick Strang   John Jay   NY   QB    AA - 1st Team   6'4", 230
Brett Matazinsky   Tamarac   NY   TE/DE   C - 3rd Team DE   6'3", 240
John O'Connell   Lincoln Sudbury   MA   DL      6'1", 245
Marquis Terrell   LaSalle Institute   NY   RB   AA - 2nd Team   5'9, 175
Sean Regan   Canadaigua Academy   NY   RB/LB      6', 195

I believe Regan and Terrell had been brought up before (Regan is a legacy), but the top two look good.  In fact, it looks like Vella has no lock on being QB this year.  From what I read, Nick Strang is an animal.  He was recruited by some higher level and quality programs (no Iona's) as a TE/Athlete, but said no and wanted to play QB.  Is Vella destined for a position switch (we've had guys like Ben Cable and PJ Overdorf do it successfully before).  Matazinsky looks like a quality player too.  Obviously this is one tenth of the class or so, but the top four looked pretty impressive (don't know about Regan, who has about the same profile as myself and twenty other guys coming out of HS).  Does anyone know more detail about any of these kids, particularly the on from Mass (LewDogg, JU??)?

Geez Gro,

SUNY Albany must be thrilled about those rankings.

Union college - little race interaction?

How are the ivory tower guys over there not having fits about that?

The SUNY Universities all have a ton of warts.

Colin Berry, Sr., Union the lone representative (pre-season All American) from the LL on the offensive side of the ball (2nd team). By the way dlippiel found out he and Mrs. dlippiel are having a little girl in december. Those ultrasounds are nothing short of amazing. What a day!

Dlippiel:

Congrats... Best wishes.   Parenthood isn't for everyone.. and I understand that.  But it is the best this life offers.

At times a struggle (or so it seems at the time) however the joy and pride as they grow up is unmatched.  Enjoy all of it.  The time flies by.  The Stim remembers bringing home his little girl.. now she's 26!

Congratulations, d.  This is great news.

Congratulations Dlip, remember in about 13 years whenever boys come to visit you need to be sitting at the table cleaning your guns or sharpening your knives.
