Colin Berry, Sr., Union the lone representative (pre-season All American) from the LL on the offensive side of the ball (2nd team). By the way dlippiel found out he and Mrs. dlippiel are having a little girl in december. Those ultrasounds are nothing short of amazing. What a day!

congrats dlip....as they say and its true that being a parent is the best thing you'll ever do and the hardest thing you'll ever do...

EDIT: w/ 3 kids pbr can testifiy to that statement

Dad KS always said he had three boys so he could retire from yard work, snow shoveling, and car washing and Mom KS could retire from putting away laundry and washing dishes.

KS Dad bought the lawn tractor with snow plow the fall after KS left for boot camp.

Oil inventories rose unexpectedly and blew away forecasts for a decline... should put a nice hurting on the uptick there.

It will, however, help the wallet!

WASHINGTON, July 29 (UPI) -- Popular body-building products sold as nutritional
supplements may contain steroids that produce acute liver injury and kidney
failure, U.S. regulators said.
The Food and Drug Administration cited eight popular products from American
Cellular Laboratories Inc., including Mass Xtreme and Tren Xtreme, that the
agency said contain hidden and potentially hazardous steroids or "steroidlike
substances."
The products are sold on the Internet and in some stores, the FDA said.
It did not tell consumers what other products to avoid. The FDA acknowledged it
did not know how many products its warning affects.
It advised consumers "to stop taking body-building products from any
manufacturer that claim to contain steroidlike substances or to enhance or
diminish androgen-, estrogen- or progestinlike effects in the body."
In particular, the agency said consumers should not buy products using code
words like "anabolic" and "tren" or phrases like "blocks estrogen" and
"minimizes gyno."
Bodily damage can also include stroke and pulmonary embolism, or artery
blockage in the lung, the FDA said.
The warning is part of a larger investigation into body-building products that
contain hidden steroids, The New York Times reported.

JT's Dad had two boys for the same reason. Sister did nothing.  JT's Dad has all the gear too now.

Hey that's weird, an Obama pick looking to limit positions and kick Capitalism in the junk.

Go for it... someday he'll learn that supply & demand, and pricing drive economies, and that socialism doesn't work.

Sorry, had to send a shot across to bow -- No more politico from me.

Durable goods was a blow. It'll definitely be interesting to see how Q3/Q4 earnings come in. There's only so much companies can cut costs to save themselves, now the top line revenue will have to come back or else we'll be in for a really rough 2nd half.

So does Halladay go to Red Sox now?  Are any other teams in the mix? JT has only heard of the Phils and the Sox.

Pat Coleman

As a fan of a team that needs a starting pitcher or three, I find it hard to picture trading for a guy who's going to make maybe 8-9 starts, probably go 7-2 or 8-1 and maybe make a five-game difference in the standings at best over who we'd replace him with.

The Doyle Alexanders of the world are few and far between, and we all know what the Tigers gave up to get him.
