Yes, very nice job.  It's extremely tough to do.  I am attempting a similiar feat myself.

2 things gro has been meaning to post but silly things like work get in the way.

1. Was back in the smalbany area 2 weeks ago. Saw the RPI stadium with me own eyes. It was mantastic. HUGE, but nice and cozy like '86 since there is no track around the field.  Will the endzone away from the bball gym be reserved for rowdy alumni?  Stim said it before the only bad thing is that it's marked for both football and soccer. boooooo.

2. Saw SI columnist Peter King in the airport (he must have been at Giants camp). You ever have someone walk right past you and you know them from somewhere but can't figure it out? That was him.

So here's my list of semi famous people I've seen in airports:
Peter King
Burt Reynolds
Jay Cutler (not the QB, the bodybuilder)
The dood that played the main dood's neighbor in Office Space

Hey Peter! Check out channel 9, check out that chick!

Pep has the distinct pleasure(?) of sitting next to (the late) Tiny Tim on an early morning 19-passenger commuter flight from Providence, RI to Newark after he'd been up all night after a RI gig of tiptoe-ing thru the tulips. True to form, he had his ukelele in a brown paper bag and smelled like.....he'd been up all night tip-toeing thru the tulips.

CREEEEEEEEEPY

KS would probably be meeting Joe Frazier in Larry Holmes Commodore Inn in Phillipsburg NJ.  It was a few hours after the Tyson Spinks fight in AC.  Joe, Larry, Ernie Shavers and several other boxers came in and started drinking.  Joe sat down and started holding court, greeting everyone and talking boxing to everyone.  He had a huge lump just above his right elbow.  Somebody asked him about it and he said it was a calcium deposit over an old crack in his bone.  KS asked Joe how he got it and Joe looked at KS, smiled and said Manilla.  A very nice and generous man, bought drinks for about 50 of us sitting and listening to him tell fight stories.

Pretty cool dlippiel would love to meet Frazier! dlippiel thought he heard Frazier really does not have a ton of $? Hence making the buying of drinks even that more impressive!

Joe was doing pretty good in the mid to late 80's, financial trouble came a little later.  Larry would have covered Joes tab though.  Larry Holmes is also a very nice, charming and generous person, most boxers KS met have all been very friendly people, some had temper issues and such but under it mostly good people.

U89, stim, or others what have you heard regarding da U's recruits for 09? dlippiel has been looking but hasen't seen or heard a lot about the newbies. dlippiel and father rlippiel were discussing 09 season and for the first time in a while neither of us have heard a lot about 09 recruits. Just curious... ;)

Because its a terrible class. Probably the worst in 30 years.....

On a completly unrelated note, KS went to a new Orthopaedist today.  KS was told to strip down to his shorts and socks and put a gown on.  KS got weighed and he was at 278, this is the lightest KS has been in over 10 years, down for a high of around 350 a little more than a year ago.  Only another 50-60 lbs to go until KS is at a weight he wants to be at.

KS was also measured, 25 years ago when KS got out of the Navy he was measured at 75" even in his stocking feet.  KS was just measured at 73" even.  KS has lost 2 inches in the past 25 years.

+k KS keep up the good work it doesnt get easier as u get older...pbr ran w/ the local h.s. x-country team last night ran a 5K then did a set of 8-600 yd. hills (sprint all out up and jog down...repeat) pbr has learned old man time waits for no one and pbr is no longer a young buck, it was an all out work out and struggle to keep up w/ the youngin's any more(pbr didnt tell them that though) full out soreness and pain today in the legs but all in all pbr feels good still being able to do that kind of workout

Good job KS.... JT is doing the same thing.  Cutting out the processed food, high fructose corn syrup, cutting down on the booze, and working out.  Going for nutrient dense food as much as possible.

JT has packed on the lbs. the past five or six years.  Dropped 25 for the wedding in Nov and put 35 back on.  Time to break the cycle.

JT has been rocking a Vitamix blender for a couple of weeks.  Making his own smoothies (seeds and all), hummus, soups, ice cream made with low fat milk and fresh fruit etc., low fat shakes with fresh fruit, etc.,  The machine is expensive but worth it.

JT is just getting over a shoulder strain, re-injured again by trying to work out too soon.  Another pain free week or so and JT will start hitting his perfect pullup and bodylastics.
