undefeated in the regular season only counts in college

Pats... 18-1... discuss.

p.s. Brady most likely puts up great, but not 2007 numbers. 35+ TDs easy.

Undefeated again?

As long as Pittsburgh covers JT doesn't care.

JT?  Wagering on a preseason game?  Maybe we could hold an LL Intervention?  We should have our own show, like Intervention on tv, but have all the LL DR's show up to smack some sense into fools...Docuhenami..nice..LD11 like Coors Light.

So season tix can be had for both the Jets and Giants.  Jets had a 7+ year waiting list in 2007 and Giants were 20+.  They both announce seat licenses from 20G's on down to 5G (1G for Jets) in 2008.  Combined with the economy both teams are trouble of being blacked out in NYC.

JT thinks they screwed the pooch. He gets calls daily from both... latest offer was dropping preseason requirement  (for full) and half season with one preseason game.  JT said drop preseason and tix face by 30% and he'll roll.  Whatever, JT will be able to get tix for about half face on the web for select games, just like the Yankees this year.  JT has been getting decent lowers at Yankee Stadium for about $50 with a face of over $125, 24 hrs before game time.

Teams have successfully killed the secondary market leaving little profit for those that want to sell some tix in order to keep their tix next year.

Just a warmup.  -3 over Arizona seemed like gimmie.  Tied 3-3 late in the third. Oh well.  JT is a successful wagerer over the season.  He's up on baseball and the WNBA.  Can't wait for NBA and NFL.  If JT ever figures out a formula for the ponies, he'll retire.

The Rev saw in the news that the Eagles have taken a chance on Vick.

Vick was reported as saying, "I  know now that we should not have dogs fight.  We should have them for dinner...like they do in Korea."

Rev, I was wondering if churches in Korea look like the new one thats going up in my hometown.  Its kind of starting a little bit of controversy as it may be the ugliest church in the world.  I guess there is this law in Massachusetts called the Dover Ammendment which basically says that religious and some educational buildings can ignore local zoning laws and basically build whatever they want.  Anyway, here is the monstrosity that now sits in what was once a decent looking Brookline Village...

just remember its preseason....eagles were playing the most basic 2 deep zone coverage almost everydown. no stunting up front and little blitzing at all pbr or any LLPP member could of stood in that backfield and fired lazers downfield like that. come on its football 101 ...science

doesn't matter where Vick signed there are gonna be some pizzed off people, but it's not like no one was gonna take him a la Barry Bonds. The iggles look like they'll deal with it, but the city will give them hell.

Gro thinks its a smart move for him. He's on a team where he can get his NFL legs back under him and not have to play (like Oakland or Minnesota). Even if McNabb has another brain spasm they can put in Kolb.  Part of me thinks he doesn't even want to be a starting QB anymore. Just stay in the league, make a few mill, and clear up the financial mess that he's in.

The Carson Palmer reference is incorrect.  Palmer got hurt in the playoffs.  Brady got hurt in week 1.  In essence, yesterday was Brady's first time on the field, minus 7 minutes in KC, since the Super Bowl, os he's had a year and a half off.  I think he is extremely healthy, and once he shakes the 'someone better not fall on my knee' jitters that he had on the one deep throw, I think he's going to be in better shape than 2007.

And to PBR and the rest of the Eagles crybabies...

Vick is an amazing football talent.  If your a PETA person or something like that and you're gonna hate people your entire life, fine, go burn your bra, but as a football lover, I am excited to see how Vick does.  I wish it were in a different uniform because he's so talented, he could change the dynamic of a team very easily.  After seeing the typical boring old Eagles last night, I think getting Vick was genius.

Give a guy a chance.  He came from some pretty messed up stuff, and did some cruel and stupid things.  BUT, he hasn't been arrested 47 times with guns in strip clubs in Vegas, he didn't get drunk and run over a PERSON, he wasn't injecting himself with needles and lying about it to congress, or shooting people outside his bar, or picking up hookers at the Super Bowl, etc etc.  He was in a sick and twisted gambling ring that got out of hand.  He's owned up to it.  He's paid the price and spent more than 30 days in jail.  Get over it.

Or, just be your normal miserable A-Hole Philly fan selves, and b!tch about it until Santa comes back and then have your POS good for nothing Senator look into Andy Reid's diet.
