re: scfjllppffl .... did ocho cinco move himself up in the draft w/ his play last night? come on what a bargain.. a WR and kicker all built into 1 draft pick! pbr is sensing a free roster spot if someone drafts ocho cinco...

SF couldn't believe what he was seeing last night... and started laughing before he kicked the ball... and then he made it.... with a nice high leg follow through. . .

Graham gets hurt alot and it wasn't ocho cinco volunteering for it... Marvin Lewis knows he can kick, apparently.

They said on ESPN radio this morning that he used to be a kicker in HS.

The way U89's Red Sox have been playing, we'll take all the help we can get......

TGP, just read yesterday's post and can't stop laughing. Way too many I can relate to. Since I can't give actual k yet, think of this as +k in spirit. And you should send the list to Jack Handy; he hasn't written anything that good for a while.

dlippiel wouldn't count your sox out yet U89. This will be a very telling series this weekend, one that could catapult the sox right back into the race. Of course dlippiel hopes the Yanks sweep. We shall see  :o.

Sox should be fine regardless of this weekend (although TGP's a Sox guy, any knowledgeable baseball fan will admit that this weekend's pitching match-ups, i.e.,  Penny vs. Pettite, Tazawa vs. Burnett, and Beck vs. Cheeseburger Cheeseburger; heavily favor the Yanks).

Boston has 25 of their final 42 games at Fenway where they generally play much better (68% WP) than they do on the road (48%).  Their longest final road trip of the season is to Baltimore and KC.  Buch has looked good lately and Wake is coming back (hopefully meaning Penny and/or Tazawa take a seat) and the bats seem to be waking up after nappnig thru most of the post-All Star break games.

TGP would guess that the WC isn't a lock per se, but highly likely.

Thx PA - things sure have changed up in Geneva.

TGP's FY recruiting class back in '92 had something north of 40-50 kids (and only about 10 or less actually were still playing by their SR year).

It's pretty awesome to read that these days Cragg can be "selective" in who he recruits.

What was The Rev thinking spending six years at ASU when he could have gone to UNFJ and REALLY wasted time.

It's not too late for a PhD.  Perhaps The Rev could drag that out ten years?

Story about Hobart coming back this year for anyone interested

Very nice article. Sounds as if Cragg is having fun and really getting these kids excited about football at Bart. Cragg seems very classy. dlippiel feels like he comes across as if he is not pulling the wool over any heads of the young men he recruits. Seems as if he wants you, he really wants you and believes that you are right for his program. If the players hold up their end, work hard, school work, acting responsible, they will be rewarded with a great college experience playing football with the pumpkins!
