U89 just stocked his fridge with 30 Miller Lites and is ready for 9:30.....

My ML's are 'extra' special.....they come with a 'Taste Protector Lid'.

Starts at 930?  Good.  I thought I was going to have to cram...

Ready to roll... 9:30 EST... the frosty dippers will be co-managed by Jim Beam tonight. The draft order will be set by yahoo, me thinks it comes out 30min before the draft.

If you can't make it it's not the end of the world. Yahoo's ranking aren't bad, it's just that the computer picks starters first including the kicker and tries to balance your team with extra QB/TE/K/D that you might not want.

One good change about this year... Sun-Tue waivers. Players are locked once the 1st game starts and follow waiver rules to pick them up. No more Gro and LD swooping in and picking up the weekly top performers on the waiver wire.

I have a 12 of Shock Top and some St. Lucian rum.  I hope I have the 18th pick.

LD had his real league draft on Monday.  12 teams - 6th pick - Worst case scenario...Not only do you miss the best guys, but you have 1 pick, then 12 in between.

QuoteQuite possibly the truth Dogg, yet us ducking futchmen fans have to hold this program to high expectations because if we don't who knows what'll happen to it. Seems as if the mediocre records at the U are becoming more and more tolerated and accepted. By the way, have fun with Endicott. Looks like we might have a barn burner over in Troy with this NEFC powerhouse. Can't remember a year when they had a decent shot at defeating RPI. dlippiel thinks this may be one...

Not sure what to make of Endicott.  I've saw them play last year twice and while they have some talent, they aren't deep or big/physical enough especially on the O and D lines.  QB is big and fairly mobile.  Returning a number of players that saw time last year on D but that may be the bad news.

Believe RPI and Union are probably quite close we'll see.  For that matter I don't think Hobart is head and shoulders above either of them.. again time will tell.

Did see the RPI practice yesterday.  They have promise and I think they will be in the thick of it.  QB'a are fairly impressive.  Accuracy and learning their receivers (and offense) will be the issue.  Arm strength is certainly not the problem.  Saw some major league throws.  We'll see what they look like Sat against HVCC.

Also checked out the new red bucket seats on the ECAV.. very cool

Fine, if no one will say it, i'll say it...Endicott is terrible, and if RPI doesn't blow them out of the water, they deserve about as much recognition as they've gotten so far in the preseason which is, pretty much, none.  I don't care if Endicott will be 'improved' or whatever from previous years, this shouldn't be a game technically, unless RPI plays to the talent of their competition, which has been a HUGE problem in the last few years.

U89 has the exact same scenario in his $$ league....leaning toward Larry Fitzgerald.  I think the RB position is a bit watered down this year.

I went on a limb and with with youth and took Chris Johnson.  Plus it's a PPR league and he will get a lot of touches this year.  Time will tell.

JU has not done fantasy in about 15 years.  So I don't want anyone laughing at me when I draft Terrell Davis with the first pick.
