WTF?  Two weeks into the school year and The Rev is fantasizing about becoming a world famous mass-murderer of sixth graders.

And this makes you different from every other sixth grade teacher in what way?   ;D

OK, as long as The Rev understands that the urge to kill is normal, we're OK.

6th Graders are tough.  I had 7th and 8th graders first semester last year and then they threw a 6th grade class at me second semester.  There is such a difference in the level of maturity between a 6th Grader and an 8th Grader.

Not much of a smack talker in college, probably because we won games. Things were different in HS when we were usually down 3 scores and lil'gro would dish out the late hits and the chatter. Never punched anyone though...

punching someone is inexcusable, BUT... what did #94 say that made #9 flip out?  You notice #94 came up said something and slapped #9 on the shoulder pads, then spun around to see #9's reaction... which ended up being a right jab to the chin.

EDIT: Just a few guesses of the alleged smack talk.
"Have a fun bus ride home"
"How's that for an azz whoopin?"
"Who Dat say dey gonna beat dem broncos?"
"Your mother is a woman of ill repute, and she has questionable hygiene"

Didn't the same thing almost happened between King and Audino after one shoe's game? (I'll let you guess who was the antagonizer was)

I'm just sayin'...

EDIT2: Gro says 2-3 game suspension plus make him ineligible for any bowl game participation.

BOL...the guess of smack talk almost made pbr spit out his coffee on the keyboard...that dood blount was out of control his own teammates/coaches/security couldnt control him...too bad he can dish it out but cant take it!! shoots his mouth off like that before the game and doesnt like a little smack talk back. and coaches have had problems w/ him before. he should be gone....

gro' u ever had some good smack talk at rpi during games? who was the best smack talker on the rpi teams u were on? who was good at talkin' smack from other teams that u played against that either made u laugh or really got under your skin?

It is rare today when JT doesn't hear smack talking at DIII games.  And the better the team (Mount Union), the more ish they spew.

Yeah, Gro was definately a quiet guy and he definately let his actions on the do the talking. (actually, this is probably better since you woudn't be able to understand him anyway)

Reg talked alot of ish.  Usually the "stay down or I'll knock you down again"(in college) or "Oh ish.....were you just trying to tackle me....your way back here, I was way up there"(in HS)

I really didn't face too many defensive people talking a lot of trash.  There was one kid from Univ. of Rochester back in 2000 that was about 5'2" 130 pound running back that ran his mouth non-stop.  Gro, you remember him?

How come no one is talking about 94's teammates?

Blount sucker punches your teammate and your reaction is "hey, hey break it up?"  I can't believe none of those four guys at least went after Blount.  94 should get one free shot on each of them in practice Monday.

Maybe they didn't even know it happened because 94 just blended into the turf when he fell.  Probably thought it was like a magic trick or something.

Speaking of which, how is it legal to have uniforms that exactly match the turf?  That has to give Boise some kind of advantage...right?

dlip can relate because he once spit on a dude during a game when he lost his ****. No one saw it and the player who dlip spit on for some reason didn't make a big deal out of it. After the game dlip felt like such a douche he waited outside the teams locker room and apologized to the kid. The kid was very cool and accepted the apology. It was the lowest point of dlips athletic career and one he still regrets. when dlips coach found out dlip lost his "C" and rightfully so. Looking back he should have recieved even more punishment. Blount though was way out of control. Did you see him with the crowd? ****ing titled! Anyway he should definitely be suspended indefinitely but given a chance to get his **** together and give it another go.

Just heard an interview with the beatwriter from the Oregonian who said he heard some discussion that the kid from Boise dropped the race card.  If true, does that justify Blount's reaction?

pbr wants to see all the facts break free....remember its a beat writer that is covering the oregon team and most likely is very close to the players and coaches (they share bean sprouts and granola together) so pbr will wait for confirmation of the race card. could it blount trying to cya at this point since no one really heard what was said but him and the boise st. kid? this thing is going to get tons of scrutiny now and will be interesting to see what punishments the schools/ncaa hand out. but when blount gets thrown out of the very 1st practice of the year for uncontrolled emotional problems by the head coach his track record isnt very good...

Great question Viper. dlip thinks that even if the race card was dropped it does not excuse Blounts actions(...but he thinks it makes us see his point of view more regarding his snapping), Blount should be out no matter what period. First, if the Boise kid actually did actually drop the race card, his ass be suspended indefinitely and/or recieve at least the same punishment as Blount. To be honest dlip thinks that maybe Blount has had some time to think, seen exactly what he looked like on TV, realizes that he is in deep **** for his actions, and sees that maybe his only way out, or way to justify his actions is to play the race card. Unfortunately dlip thinks this may be the case, take into account this is not Blounts first situation with "losing it" and will most likely not be the last (for his sake though dlip hopes it is and he can rebound). It is so hard to tell what really happened and believe dlip, if that white bread cornhole dropped a racial slur his ass should be in serious **** immediately! Yet it just does not seem likely to dlip that that is what occured.

This punk from oregon Blount should be thrown off the team for good after taking that sucker punch after the game to the kid from boise st. yeah the kid from boise taunted him a little but NO reason for a sucker punch and oregon's coach had thrown him out of oregon's first practice for behavioral issues. Blount started this whole mess when he told a national tv audience before the game that "boise st. needs a azz whoopin' in their own house and we're going to give it to them..."

The kid from Boise St. brings back memories of 'Glass Joe' from Mike Tyson's, 'Punchout'.
