Fair enough.  Interesting on A Johnson.  I see him rated high, but I guess this is where  fantasy diverges from real world (he's good, but if you're a gm is he your top WR pick?).  How 'bout TO?

I really don't know what I'm doing here and am going to get smoked, aren't I?  Draft is in 1 hr.

TO drops balls, Andre Johnson makes plays and gets looks.  2 weeks already down, here's their breakdown:

Andre Johnson 14 Rec 184 yds 2 TD
TO 5 Rec 98 Yds 1 TD  (half of his yds on 1 td catch)

DON'T DO IT!!!

I hear ya, I wasn't thinking TO above Johnson, just in general that maybe he'd see the ball a lot in that offense this year.

Do the negative pts from fumbles end up hurting a lot?  Gore looks good, but that dood drops balls like the freshman in that old college football movie with Halle Berry (the title escapes me at the moment, was it the Program?)

Pep has never had a Fantasy Football Team but imagine it could be a lot of fun. Pep has always been puzzled by the vast number of "Fantasy Football" mags appear on the racks as compared to the legitimate football mags.

Pep long overcame his fear of appearing foolish, so a question that reveals one's ignorance is definitely in vogue for Pep....What's the big deal about Fantasy Football that one would actually read magazines about it? And what would the magazines reveal?

Pep poses this question over here on the Liberty League board because no one is posting over on the E8 boards....real quiet over there since Saterday.

Agree with LD, picking Joey Galloway should be banishment.. With only 6 teams picking, you can do A LOT better than that as a sleeper, maybe the Knox kid from Chicago.. Or the other receiver from Vandy in Chicago..

Depends on your league.  Most give you a -2 for fumbles.  That doesn't add up to much considering Gore is a solid back and receiver (aka added points b/c of YAC).

Alright, its over and my team is Cutler (no hard on for him, but rather I was left with Cutler, McNabb and Warner as my options), A. Peterson, A. Johnson (it's on you LewDogg on this one), Marques Colston (the way Brees has been playing), Tomlinson, Witten, Brandon Jacobs, Gostkowski (K) and Baltimore D as my starters.  The bench is a little weaker with Roy Williams, Ray Rice, Hines Ward and Knowshon Moreno.

Sounds like a pretty good team to me, but with only six teams, there wasn't a lot of headscratchers.  A couple of wasted early picks on D, QB and I saw Brandon Marshall and Welker go earlier than I thought they would.

That's a friggin all-star team dude.  Although I would pick up Warner and keep Cutler on the bench.

I know you guys hate the weekly promotion of the shows and broadcasts on here, but I gotta say that this week's "In the HuddLLe" was one for the ages.  We focused a lot on the RPI/WPI battle of undefeateds game coming up Saturday and had guests from each school...

First, Chris Boudreau (WPI Sr. DB), who missed 2008 due to injury, was an awesome interview -- very personable, a guy who's from the Troy area in the first place and made you want to root for WPI by the end of the interview...

Then, Joe Albano (RPI Sr. DB) joined us -- a member of the ROTC at RPI, someone who is from MA and who considered attending WPI in the first place.  We could've talked with him all night long, as well.

We had some good insight concerning all four LL league-play openers at the end of the show and a tribute to Myles Brand in between.  I hope if you guys get a chance to Podcast or download the show, you will (http://inthehuddlle.com)... It's been a great season for us so far, but this show stands out as the best yet in 2009.

Yeah really liked Albano (for an RPI guy anyway).  He seemed like probably the most eloquent player guest I've heard in fact.  My only question is if there's going to be a constant defense of RPI's OOC schedule weekly.  I'm personally convinced that a lot of those week 3 or 4 Hobart wins vs. RPI had a lot to do with the fact that Bart was better prepared for that game than RPI (RPI finished many of those years stronger than they started).  With the schedule changed now, maybe it's to RPI's benefit to have that early season schedule.  It'll be interesting to see when/if a 7-2 team from the LL gets an at-large bid what they're schedule will look like.  Clearly a one loss second place team can get in (Hobart in 2005 & 2006 I think technically one of those years was a shared title, but Union got the AQ via head to head).

Dogg, Warner is still available.  Should I just swap out Cutler for Warner, or bench Cutler, drop Moreno and pick up Warner?

The Rev is sitting here in Language Arts class (1 pm Korea time) looking at LLPP when all of a sudden, The Rev is wondering if he'll be able to make it home before unloosing a destructive tsunami of molten turd.

This is not a comfortable moment.  I can't even finish reading LLPP.

oofahh...not good...+k for trying to make it home...did u make it? or pull the nyc homeless person move and find the nearest doorway to squat in?

Made it home safe and sound today.  Said waste product set off The Rev's Early Warning System well in advance of the attack and The Rev was able to make the necessary arrangements, evacuate the innocent, stockpile the proper supplies, etc.

The Rev had a very close call back in May.  While walking the 3 km home, The Rev had to stop and gasp for breaths as cramps hit, nearly ducked into a ditch to do it homeless style, but decided tough it out.  The Rev started unbuttoning his shirt and loosening his belt while walking through the neighborhood.  As soon as the front door was open, The Rev flung his clothes off, and was still about 6" from the seat when the eruption occurred.  No mess, but it almost rendered The Rev unconscious.

The people in the neighborhood still look at The Rev funny.

Ah, the memories.  In the middle of a two week safari in Costa Rica (amazing place, see it if you ever get the chance), my early warning system sent its first signal just as the last bus of the day pulled out of the tiny remote town on the Caribbean coast.  I had a 2 and 1/2 hour bus ride ahead of me, just to get to a slightly less remote tiny town in the middle of a rain forest.  Those cramps and urges came in waves, every attack more intense than the last.  I still don't entirely know how I managed to hold on long enough to gasp "necesito ir al cuarto de bano" to the innkeeper.

Costa Rica--snakes, alligators, howler monkeys, active volcanoes, rain forests, cloud forests, desolated beaches stretching for miles, . . . all manner of hazard.  Yet what was my most dangerous adventure?  My own lower intestine.  Sheesh.

So KS was painting the trim in the Stalkerettes room in the new apt the Stalkers are moving into last night.  KS hears people climbing the fence next to KS building where a new bldg is going up.  KS turns off the light, grabs his cell phone and looks out the window ready to call the cops when KS hears shouting from the front.  "GET ON THE GROUND NOW MOTHER****ER!  I SAID NOW, GET DOWN, DOWN MOTHER****ER."  KS looks out the front window and sees a cop kneeling on the back of someone cuffing him and then sees the cop pick up the handgun and a big baggie of coke.  KS looks at the cop and says, I heard all the noise and was just going to call you guys.  KS then sees 8 more cops coming out of the construction site hauling two others that decided to run.

Time to pack up all your belongings, MKS and your Stalkerettes and move to Mayberry....so long as you can work your job at home online....Tinkertown is a pretty quiet neighborhood. Got a good sized homestead in mind for ya...plenty of room now, an extra apt. upstairs to rent for income later.

Pack your bags, KS....and bring your bass/amp!

I'd definitely pick up Warner.  Depending on who else you have, it sounds like you'll have to drop someone decent.  I wouldn't drop Cutler altogether, but I wouldn't drop Knowshon either, but if you had to drop 1, I'd drop Cutler.  LT might fade away and Knowshon might be the stud by the end of the year.  Both in different situations.  If Warner gets hurt or something, it sound like there are plenty of QBs to be had.  Cutler sure as hell isn't having a huge fantasy year.  He has no one to throw to.
