LMAO...gotta luv tufts addressing this issue!...this still has pbr LOL... love the quote "i dont want my roommate seeing me have sex and i dont want to see my roommate having sex..." classic

U89 always likes to say, "I don't care who sees be having sex.....as long as I'm having sex".

pbr's friend emailed asking .... 1. guess threesomes are ok?    2. what if roomates want to have sex w/ one another does 1 have to go outside the room? 3. does a blow up doll count as a person? 4. if someone wants to just have sex w/ themselves do they still have to ask the roommate to leave?

Greatest move in the history of LLPPFFL......U89 just dropped RB, Peyton Hillis of the Broncos and picked up RB, Willie Parker of the Steelers.

JT, care to explain the unorthodox move of simply cutting a health Willie Parker from your squad?

Since JU cannot get yahoo at work, he is offering Rothlesberger or Schaub for a good RB or WR.

Willie Parker?  Can the league veto pickups?!?!

LD11 is buried in the new Dan Brown book, 'The Lost Symbol'.  Highly recommended if any of you guys know how to read.  it's really effing good.

Bought it last week for post-surgery reading, but started, "Rat Bastards" by John 'Red' Shea first.  U89 figured that with taking Oxy's he might not be able to follow a Dan Brown book right off the bat.  "The Lost Symbol" will be started later this week.

P.S. - To anyone who enjoyed "Black Mass", you will love, "Rat Bastards".

How is the back doing U89?   SF just got back from the doctor today... MRI is back.  Labrum and rotator cuff is again torn and there is a slight tear in the bicep where it attaches.  SF is just getting old.  Didn't play much softball this year (to rest this shoulder) and cut back on golf also (so basically all could do was play on the boat this year).

Though its not a back injury... this will be SF's 3rd shoulder surgery ---- sucks getting older.  SF can very much identify with U89's activities right now of taking medication and catching up on reading.

The Pittsburgh offensive line is not like the offensive line of old... and they are having to pass the ball to get yards.  SF saw this up close at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday.... its shocking to see a Pittsburgh team that can't run the ball like the teams of old.

One maybe wishes he had another defense to deal. dlip almost considered drafting three of them. ;)

SF hope you are all right dude and wishing you the best regarding surgery. It sucks having LLPP brethern getting hurt and getting surgery. ****in A we are getting older. dlip has been running for years now since he finished playing hockey in school and recently began lifting a bit to cross train. After ****in just two months he seemed to tweak something in his shoulder and it has yet to subside. Sometimes he even feels it going down his arm. Back in his early 20's dlip could drink all night, do double sessions of hockey practice, and never feel anything. Now he ****in jumps rope with the kids at recess and he needs to spend the afternoon with an IV. Man getting older does suck.

dlip,

not to alarm you... but thats how SF's shoulder problems started.  if you feel it going down your arm, thats not good.   Thats how SF knew it was time to see the doctor.... and was in surgery 6 weeks later.

I have a couple buddies who played ball at Union and they had rotator cuff surgeries.  Two of the 3 guys have had to have multiple interventions....is the rotator cuff tough to get right in one swing through?

Best of luck with the knife.

Re: Take a Kid to a game

sarcasm.

Why would a parent prefer a 6pm start over a 1pm start.  Only thing I can think of is if they have something else to do at 1pm and also want to see the Union game.

I used to take my son to the local high school games here when they kicked off at 1pm on Saturday. Now that almost all games start at 7pm on Friday, we don't go nearly as often.

I think its just like any other procedure... that once you need surgery, you're never quite the same..  In my case, after the 1st one I came back too soon (playing OF in softball and lots of golf).  I should have been a little bit more cautious.  Your friends might say the same.

Thanks SF for the info. It's like a subtle pain ya know. Sometimes it is quite painful than others it is very minimal. Needless to say I have stopped lifting but even after runs I feel it. Maybe I'll call my Dr and get it checked out. Thanks !

Re: Tufts

Gro has a friend that went to Tufts. One time Gro and the doid crew went to visit for the weekend which happened to be Tufts spring party weekend (spring fling? spring fest? something like that). They had an outdoor concert with none other than LL Cool J.... weird right? Bunch of preppy kids getting down to "hey lover". So you know he's gotta do "Mama said knock you out" and the kids are semi moshing around. One kid is crowd surfing and he's coming towards gro and friends. Said kid comes into gro airspace and through a feat of strength science has yet to explain Gro was able to catch and launch the tufts undergrad into the stratosphere. His fall was slightly broken by a few other kids then he hit the ground with a nice thump.

Turns out the kid lived in the same dorm as my friend and gro was able to meet him later in the night and reminice about the time he flew gro airlines.

and that's gro's Tufts story.
