TGP's B&C's finally get over the hump and get their first win of the 09 LLPPFFL season.  Who knew that a last minute plug of Seneca Wallace and the Vikes D would eke out enough points to lick the frosty dippers?

pbr is going to deliver another beatdown to a catalina wine cooler team this week...saw the wallace change nice call...

LD11's makeshift team is starting to come together.  So weird in a league this big.  Scoring 100 in a week is ALMOST a guaranteed win.

the Cincy Bowties evened up the record with beating Muffdivers. . . agree with LD, if you approach 100 you can't be beat.

SF has NEVER been in a league this big, but believes this makes you pay more attention and look for waiver wire pickups to tweak your team.

Unfortunately, I am unable to weigh in on the cable/ verizon/ DirecTV debate, since the restraining order specifically states that I am no longer allowed to comment on Cable Companies anywhere in the U.S., due to my numerous threatening and menacing letters and voice mail messages, as well as my tracking down individual cable customer service reps at their homes. But suffice it to say that the happiest moments of my life were marrying my wife, the birth of my three kids, and getting DirecTV, and not necessarily in that order.

Man, just got to the computer and saw 2 full new pages of posting.....figured, sweet this will be interesting and may even be due to an argument.

No such luck, 2 pages of Verizon vs. Comcast vs. DirectTV banter.....hey, that's how the LLPP rolls.

DewCrew,
Please, please, please, please......please, pick Hobart over Union this weekend in your ATR prognostications.

Dew picked,
Ithaca 38.....Union 18 (Union actually avoided the MonkeyStomp and won the game 24-21)

Dew picked,
WPI 30........Union 18 (Union won 21-17)

For obvious reasons, please pick Hobart by 38 points vs. Union this weekend.

I hear ya U89, I'll throw some meat on the grill:

* I am the only one who thinks that the dude from Boise State had it coming from the Oregon RB Blount? I mean, sure, Blount's a punk, but that dude tapping him on the shoulder, taunting him, and then that goofy smile before Blount dropped him like a sack o' potata's? Also, where does that punch rank in all time punches? I mean, sucker punch or not, that dude was knocked the F*** OUT!

* Please don't let Michael Crabtree sign, this holdout is fantastic, just for the sheer stupidity of it all. It has already surpassed my all time favorite holdout, the Andre Smith-Bengals holdout on Hard Knocks, which blew past my previous favorite, the Latrell Sprewell "I've got to feed my family" turndown of the $21M offer from the Bucks, after which he never signed another NBA contract. Please let this continue.

* The only way this could set up any better for the Yankees is if the game goes into extra innings, the Tiger's end up having to use Verlander again today after 120 pitches on Sunday, and Miguel Cabrera get's arrested right after he hits a home run to win it in the 19th inning.

Nah, man.  Dew is going with the U by a monkeystomp.  Dew, did you know that Bart's scoring 6.5pts/game on the road and 28.5pts/game at home and this game is in (dirty) Schenectady?

Rapid Response to Doid23

Gro loves the fact that dude got punched. There's an unwritten rule (it's almost 2010 and we can't get the rules down on paper, WUWD?) that smack talk is allowed before and during a game but not after. There's no reason to taunt after a win.

Crabtree is an idiot and chose the wrong team/coach to pull this stunt on. "Can't win with'em"

Beisbol? Beisbol? You are not fully indoctrinated into LLPP culture.

Doid,
Even if the Boise kid didn't say a word, if he walked by me with a stupid grin like that, I probably would have given him a rabbit punch.

It did not rank up there with the best knockouts, since the kid just looked like he would go down if he were hit by a strong wind.  Imagine how much ish he is taking around campus!

Gro-
Write that down.
