October 30 is KS and MKS 10th anniversary.  KS wonders if this would be a good anniversary date.

Friday Night at a Lingerie Football League game? Chances are skimpy that MKS would barely approve unless of course KS laced her beverage with moonshine and convinced her she could suit up for the Frederick's of Hollywood team for some cheap frills.

On second thought, please forget Pep posted anything. Pep needs some sleep.

Gro loves the fact that dude got punched. There's an unwritten rule (it's almost 2010 and we can't get the rules down on paper, WUWD?) that smack talk is allowed before and during a game but not after. There's no reason to taunt after a win.

Crabtree is an idiot and chose the wrong team/coach to pull this stunt on. "Can't win with'em"

SF can't say much, because he talked alot of chit on the field... but after the game, win or lose, SF congratulated the other team on their efforts...Even the LB from Thiel who jumped across the LOS before SF got into his cadence (and knocked a tooth out-- he jumped over the center) ---  SF never got punched after the game, though.

Crabtree isn't the idiot... his "advisors" are... I read how his cousin, who lives in Dallas has been the one telling him what an acceptable deal is.  Then Deion got involved.  But the end result is the same as if Crabtree were making these decisions on their own --- Singletary doesn't play around.

When are NFL draftees going to learn??

If SF were an agent/advisor for anyone entering the NFL draft, the advice would be "Sign the offer kid.  We'll get you super rich on your 2nd contract when you're a free agent and 32 teams want you" ---  this should hit home with an ego like Crabtree's.  Its not like he WASN'T going to be a millionaire signing whatever the 49ers put in front of him.

I'm gonna go the other way on this one.  It's not his fault that the Raiders are run by a bunch of trained chimps and took Heyward-Bey over Crabtree.  The Niners were lucky to get him at 10, should realize their fortune and be willing to meet him in the middle.  Plus, a long hold out is always entertaining as Doid pointed out.

If his advisors are any worse than Andre Smiths advisor, I hope he really doesn't ever get picked up.

Watching that guy on Hard Knocks wanted to make me throw something through the TV.  I did love the part where the owner told Andre that "your out of shape, you need to catch up"

I don't think Crabtree is helping himself but I don't think this logic applies. What percentage of NFLers don't make it to a second contract?  Plus, very little money in NFL contracts is guaranteed.  If this guy takes a sub-par deal and gets hurt he is going to cost himself a ****-ton of money.

Plus, don't forget that next year is going to be an uncapped year because of the pending labor issues.  My friends that are NFL agents are carefully watching this situation for their clients because it could mean a big payday.  I don't think the slotting system will apply to next year's draft if Crabtree is waiting and any team that drafts him will likely have a deal in place prior to the pick.

They are all a bunch of spoiled ****in brats if you ask dlip. In someways he understands one holding out for as much money as one could get, but ****, we are talking about millions of dollars here to live their dreams. dlip concurrs with SF about how much the people around these kids influence them. Sometimes dlip forgets that not only are these athletes kids, but many come from broken homes, they are not the sharpest tools in the shed, and no one has ever modeled appropriate behavior for them in their lives. Then all of a sudden when they are about to make millions they have the likes of ****in Neon Deion wanting to get involed in their lives. Anyway dlip still gets pissed regardless and feels like the athletic system is completely ****ed and off it's rocker. By the way if ****in Blount gets reinstated before his "assigned" suspension time dlip will immediately become anti-Oregon. Not saying the Boise dude didn't deserve to, quoting doid23, "get knocked the **** out," but saying that the bottom line is one cannot act that way on a college football field (especially on national TV), flip out completely, push a ****in cop, and deserve to play again the same year. Should the thug get a second chance, absolutely, but after he does his time and takes his consequences like a young man should. Now dlip will get off his soap box and back to work.

You're right... his agent may have worked his last rookie deal because of how bad the contract supposedly is:  http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=jc-directsnap091509&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

How prophetic was Mike Brown in that statement to him about needing to catch up?

How about that LLPP karma.  Crabtree just signed.

Pat, can you confirm or deny that Crabtree is a LLPP lurker?

Didn't give up much, worth the risk. But after years of watching him drop balls for Michigan, not looking forward to that pit in my stomach that I get everytime a ball is thrown to him in crunch time.

One correction, the Raiders are UNtrained chimps.

Damn, Crabtree signed. Oh well, I've always got the tivo of Hard Knocks, and the memory of hearing my wife continually saying everytime Andre Smith appeared on the screen "He's a football player? Really?". That may have been a bad contract he signed, but after seeing the infamous shirtless 40 at the combine, I don't care how good he was at Alabama, I'm not sure how you draft him in the Top 10.
