You're reading too much into JT's prior post.  Advertising here, at least in part, is triggered by what is posted here.  Same thing happens on JT's for profit websites on the forum pages.  So is we started posting about pool tables, you'll probably see pool table ads.

Bizarre story.  The latest I've heard is that the parents were so obviously shaken that no hoax by them is suspected.  Seems to be a bunch of little kids with a tenuous grasp of reality vs. fantasy, then too scared to tell the truth.

(I'll confess that at that age my brothers and I might have launched my little sister in a balloon if we had the opportunity!   Oldest brother and I did convince middle brother to climb into a canvas bag suspended from a tree by a rope - it was great fun hearing him scream as we swung the bag, until the rope broke and he broke his leg. )

There was always that kid in the group that you convince to do anything.  Thinking back, JT's surprised he survived without much damage.  "Come Jimmy, you can jump over the car from the loading dock.  It will be just like Evil Knevel."

He's now a successful surgeon.
