Nice win SF.  During the first quarter, I was wondering if BJ Daniels was going to take over the entire game and I was going to have to admit that I knew him and his family when I was living in Tallahassee.

I suppose the bright side is, Houston Nutt left Arkansas for the Ole Miss job so, there is no tie-in there for this weekend.

that dude will be a 1st Round Draft Pick...  Very impressed with him.  He was next-to impossible to sack..

I also thought the game was gonna get out of hand because of him in 1st Quarter.

I think they said that about Reggie Ball 7 or so years ago.  Gotta learn to play under pressure or you're no better than Doug Vella.

If I can't take Ann Coulter to the Mediterranean aboard a Cunard ship, I might be able to convince a hottie from Downingtown PA to join me in Selinsgrove for the last Liberty League game between Susquehanna and RPI.  Any LLPPers PPLLanning on attending?

(Figured I'd throw in a random Liberty League mention, to keep the censors at bay)

I will likely be there... although I may wuss out if this weather keeps up. I've sat through too much craptasticness lately.

fyi careful out there...pbr's friends in state college, pa said there is 5 inches of snow on the ground and tree limbs down everywhere and lots of power outages...some are worried about psu game/homecoming tomorrow and power outages. more snow in the forecast as well stay safe to all traveling out there.

The Rev's favorite neo-fascist pundit is Michelle Malkin.

This is purely on looks.  Once she opens her gape, The Rev wants to put his boot in it.

why does this not surprise SF???  Is Malkin a Korean, Rev?

oh and the name.... for Jose for the next week shall be "Yankee_Dragon"

I suppose it could have been worse SF.  You are tough but fair.

At least the "Y" in Yankee is capital so people will assume it is the baseball team and not read it YD endorsing activities north of the Mason-Dixon.

You're a good sport, YD.

I'm scared to think what my name would've been...  Maybe we can bet another game later on to find out?

Cincy is bound to get a BCS berth now.  Might get interesting.

you should put "the poster formally known as JoseQViper" in your sig so people don't get confused on other boards. Although, you could piss people off and nobody would know the difference. :)

btw pbr's friends just emailed latest forecast...another 9+ inches of snow to fall tonight/tomorrow at state college which ain't too far from selinsgrove. not even sure they will be able to get the susquehanna game in....besides the weather, many roads up there are closed right now due to down limbs and powerlines. throw in that much more snow tonight and tomorrow and its going to be a complete mess up that way. they have closed all the fields for parking around beaver stadium at psu and are busing everyone  into the game...its homecoming weekend...ugh!

Florida/Ohio Football:

Not that I really care about either team, but Ohio St. hasn't done that great of a job keeping the best Ohio talent.  Florida has done a decent job of that.

JQV

DC- better?

JU.  The rise of USF has been really interesting.  When I was a kid, the top players in Central Florida went to UF, FSU, or ocassionally Miami and then the next cut went out of state (Generally to Notre Dame, Syracuse, or a Big 10).

USF's (and to some extent UCF) strategy was just to get the kids not going to FSU, UF, or Miami.  It was a genius move that has really worked.

I don't know, but I bet the same thing was happening with good HS players in Cincinatti.  SF...your thoughts?

SaintsFAN

exactly the same thing going on in Cincinnati.  Ohio State was the only show in town with Boston College also coming through and getting some Cincy products.  Now with Brian Kelly recruiting for Cincinnati (and hiring ex-Colerain HS Head Coach Kerry Combs as DB's coach -- brilliant), UC is becoming the place to be.  They are keeping blue chip guys in their hometown.

Thanks U89..  Great win and yes he is a huge tool.. Just like his brother, who is in the ring of fame at UC

SF needs help from the LLPP.. A new name for Viper?  Ideas?

Very simple, for you guys that know him better than I.  Who is his absolutely least favorite team?  His new name: #1Fan(of X).

Take that approach and add a little something extra: Yankee Dragon

(gro drops mic, walks off stage)

Chris Rock does that.... ending with a mic drop sometimes.
