exactly the same thing going on in Cincinnati.  Ohio State was the only show in town with Boston College also coming through and getting some Cincy products.  Now with Brian Kelly recruiting for Cincinnati (and hiring ex-Colerain HS Head Coach Kerry Combs as DB's coach -- brilliant), UC is becoming the place to be.  They are keeping blue chip guys in their hometown.

enjoy kelly now lots of rumors of him bolting....for pbr 1 of the bigger ones is to the death star a.k.a. notre dame....weis is on the hot seat big time. ND has a very senior laden team w/ all his recruits and the natives are more than restless and if he doesnt produce big results this year everyone knows the next couple of years will be thin w/ young players and wont be patient and want him out. but someone is going to come in and put big money on the table to get kelly and cincinnati will have to pony up big $$$ to keep him

What's gro gotta type to get Ann Coulter's adam's apple off the banner ad?

Come on Gro, you wouldn't give her a hate shot (edited for suitability here)?

I don't know, if you're going to give a hate shot to a conservative "pundit", don't you think Meghan McCain is the new lead target?...http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2009/10/15/2009-10-15_meghan_mccain_twitter_photo_backlash_leads_to_apology.html

I stand corrected.  +K.  And to think I was going to introduce Laura Ingrahm as a little better than Coulter (from a nailability perspective)

A few of the FOX news bunnies aren't bad either.  The blond on the FOX morning show is hot too.

The Rev's favorite neo-fascist pundit is Michelle Malkin.

This is purely on looks.  Once she opens her gape, The Rev wants to put his boot in it.

why does this not surprise SF???  Is Malkin a Korean, Rev?

Malkin is Filipina.  Parents were immigrants.  She grew up around the Phila and Central Jersey areas.  And JT's feelings about Ms. Malkin are far more positive then the Rev's, although her voice ain't the sexiest.  IMHO MJT has the sexy voice Malkin lacks.

pbr, SF will enjoy Kelly at Death Star.... SF's family has season tix in South Bend.  If they don't play well and at least keep it close tomorrow, ND will make Kelly a $5M man in South Bend for next year.

Its not likely UC has the kind of money required to compete with ND to pay him... and they are behind on building the facilities Kelly wants --- he alluded to it on espn before the game yesterday.  They are a top 10 team right now (obviously) but NOT a "Top 10 Program"....

He would do very well in South Bend.

People down here close to Chucky have whispered that Gruden is on ND's radar.

I think Chucky would be an awesome college coach because young players would put up with his **** more than NFLers and I think he'd be a kick-ass recruiter.

EDIT: I should add that Gator Nation is [terrified of a potential Notre Dame opening despite Urban's repeated reassurances that he has no intention of leaving Florida.

Nice LL awards for some very talented young Dutch! Modliszewski is a very classy smart dude. He helped out at dlip's elementary school last year and was great with the kids. Of course all of the guys were great with the kids. Lots of class and responsible players over at U.

btw pbr's friends just emailed latest forecast...another 9+ inches of snow to fall tonight/tomorrow at state college which ain't too far from selinsgrove. not even sure they will be able to get the susquehanna game in....besides the weather, many roads up there are closed right now due to down limbs and powerlines. throw in that much more snow tonight and tomorrow and its going to be a complete mess up that way. they have closed all the fields for parking around beaver stadium at psu and are busing everyone  into the game...its homecoming weekend...ugh!

State College is only about an hour and a half as the crow flies... but they get vastly different weather than we do, probably the elevation. There's still big fat wet flakes flying here, but no accumulation. Our forecast is for rain, some snow mixing in, not really any accumulation.

My sister is going to Penn State's homecoming though... should be fun.

Why go to ND over Florida? Florida's the better program, better weather.... does ND pay more?
