TGP isn't a great play-off prognosticator but this is what TGP sees at the moment:

E8 Champ - Alfred or SJFC.  If the Alfredos go 10-0 they'll be a "2" worse case
NJAC Champ - Kean or Montclair (possibly Rowan) - will be seeded in the middle of the pack (anywhere from 3-6)
LL Champ - Union or SUS - will be seeded around 4 or 5
MAC Champ - Albright or DVC.  Same deal as above if Albright goes 10-0.  If DVC loses to Albright TGP thinks DVC would still garner Pool C consideration at 8-2 (other loss being to #5 Wesley).  Actually if Alfred and Albright end up 10-0 TGP's not so certain whether a third 10-0 team (i.e., MUC) would be shipped in.
NEFC - P State or Curry (likely a 6 or 7).  If Curry wins Pool A, PState may get some C consideration at 8-2 since one loss was to an upper division school (being St. Anselm so the Sex Panthers would be 8-1 for purposes of play-off consideration and the Comm did take these same 2 NEFC teams last season and both played pretty well)
Pool C - possibly one, maybe two, out of the "runners up" from either the E8 (a 9-1 Springfield team with loss to Alfred or a 9-1 Saxons team if they lost to SJFC), NJAC and/or MAC (loser of DVC/Albright game).  The eighth team could be a Pool C from the "South region" (like maybe Dickinson?).  These guys would be seeded anywhere from 5 to 8.  TGP doesn't see a 2 loss LL team making it in other than the A this season.  One exception could be if Union goes 8-2 by losing to SUS b/c it would have wins over IC and Sals.

I'm sorrry in advance for bringing this in, but I'm watching This Week (a favorite show of mine) and the roundtable is referring to a movement within the Republican party know at "the Teabaggers"?  Is this a joke or some kind of new strategy for dealing with their opponents?

This is just informational.  "Teabaggers" is a derogatory term used by the media to portray people who have organized and/or participated in Tax Tea Party protests.  These protests do not have a political affiliation.  These are Democrats, Republicans, and Independents who think the country is spending way too much money, and offloading most of the cost on future generations.  The protests cross most socioeconomic levels and races in terms of participants.

What, even "teabaggers" is derogatory now?! Damn PC Police....

pumkinattack

Thanks.  I knew about the protests, but hadn't heard that.  It was pretty awesome listening to a crew including Krugman, Dionne, Will, Steph and Peggy Noonan throwing it around.  Espceially Peggy Noonan because she likes to talk so much about the way people feel.

I'd like to see another North, non #1 seed come in (suddenly the CC runner up isn't looking as good) although the East not being strong this year would give the other "regions" an opportunity to crow if a Capital/Case/whoever came over and ran through the bracket.

JT

JT just wants Kate Hudson to continue working her magic.  A-Rod looks very relaxed and he's hitting.

dlip just laughs at this term being used as a verb with a different ending. ;D Nice

Last couple of pages:
-dlip feels next week may clear up a lot of questions many of us have about the Dutch, especially after yesterday many of us look like this  ???.
-Arkansas got screwed royally last night by the officials. Florida did not deserve that W at all! dlip will be rooting against them for the remainder of the year.
-Very important W for the Yanks last night. dlip feels taking 2 at home from the Angels was almost a must for the Yanks to have a chance at the ALCS.
-Dr. Rosenpenis is going for a 500 record this afternoon in the LLPPFFL...doubts he gets it though :-\
-No way LL title winner gets #8 seed, just won't happen. Worst case #4,5,6 in dlip's mind.
-MAC heating up with solid Del Val and Albright W's.
-dlip feels Rowan may be the best team in the East right now...call him crazy but he just feels it.
-dlip feels RPI may even be more dangerous to the U now that they have lost 2 LL games. ****in RPI always haunting dlip's head no matter what!
-dlip hopes everyone in the LLPP is having a nice fall weekend.

Just got back from the GT/VT game (GT's GT's homecoming amazingly), which was fun as hell, considering they just dropped top five VT.  Have to say, I'll root for Union vs. Anyone in the playoffs, but the LL is kind of like jockeying for the.best seat on the little yellow bus this year.  Odds are pretty good that the ceiling the the second round of the NCAA's.  I actually feel worse for Alfred who's been knocking on the door for a few years and may ne the best in the East this year, but its such a weak year in the East that its just not the same.  GO JACKETS!!!!!!!

If it gets any worse for the LL champion record-wise, they may have a hard ceiling of the first round, as in a trip to Alliance, Ohio.  ( I think this could only happen if Union were to lose to Salisbury or if Susq somehow ended up the champion)

Unless the LL Champ has 3 losses, they will not be the #8 seed.  There's just no precedent for pushing a conference champion that low without that poor of a record.

Then who would go in that coveted 8th spot?

Wait for the seeds.....as Frank said, the LL Champ could have 3 losses and in that case maybe be a #8 seed.  The # 8 could go anywhere at this point....at this point for you to ask, "if the LL Champ is not the #8 seed...then who"...is ridiculously short sighted.

PG, you talk about how bad it is for the LL, 'record wise'....Union is 5-1.  I may b1tch and moan about how they have gotten to 5-1, but you can't scoff at a 5-1 record.

I can scoff If I'd like.   :P

LOL....scoff all you like...Union is 5-1....Brockport is 2-4....now that's something to scoff at....

Ouch @ the Susquehanna hate... am I going to get karma sniped for being the lone Crusader in here? ;-)

Personally, I'd rather stay in the LL.

+1....no hate for you bro...U89 would just like to send the Crusaders out of the LL, bloody and beaten.

I just like the fact that Dlip can say, "Teabag....Teabag....Teabag" all he likes and no one can get offended.

Has she been protesting gov't expenditures in ARod's presence lately?  I'd be more relaxed too if Kate were protesting to me.

JT is betting that it is what Kate does, and not what she says.

This discussion has this old man confused. After reviewing all of the posts, there's still one question I don't have an answer to: Is Kate Hudson a Teabagger, or not? Does she enjoy spending time with the Teabaggers? Was her mother a Teabagger?
