Witten was like my sixth or seventh pick.

I'll deal, it's just a painful week because two of my RB's (K Moreno and R Rice who's been phenomenal) are on Bye as well as my D.  Maybe I'll just drop Miller and put Witten back in (the other alternatives are to drop either the Bal D or Hines Ward).  Maybe I'll swap out for GB's D who has Cleveland this week.

Once again Lew, thanks for the advice on A Johnson and the RB's.  I'm 4-0 in this pro bowl type league.

These bye weeks are putting a hurting on me in my $$ league too.  I'm 5-1 and holding strong, but I have 5 guys on bye this week.  4 are normal starters for me.  it's like patchwork this time of year.  Depending on what happens with the LLFFL waivers this week, I might be TE-less this week.  There is NO one to pick up.  Must be a sweet league where your thinking of dumping Witten.

How do you check the standings in the LLFFL?

And I still have Rothlesberger or Schaub to trade if anyone wants to make an offer.  Both are putting up good QB numbers.

What position do you need?

JU,

Click on the "League" Tab when you're on the website... and that will take you to the Blue Oyster Bar/LLPPFFL... the standings are there.  SF is having fun even though his team is only .500 after 6 games.  Maybe 18 teams is the way to go??  Sure seems better than 10 and 12 team'ers.

Or maybe SF is just excited that he beat LD.... in the battle of old, decrepit QBs.

Ahh got it thanks..  What I was doing was logging into yahoo and clicking on my teams page instead of the blue oyster bar link.  If you just click on your team you cant get any standings info for some strange reason.

Jesus.  He should've just hooked up with Shinjo at that point.  Or better yet, take his chances on an STD with Anna Benson.

is that Corky's sister?  Good gawd...  If you cheat... isn't the chick supposed to be an upgrade??

*for the record ---- SF would definitely bang Anna Benson and take his chances... she's a real wildcat.

EDIT:  This HAS to be a 1st... an UGLY, friendasaurus type who is psycho.  Isn't that usually just what the hot chicks are?  Phillips probably reasoned this when he decided to hit that after 25 beers.  "Well, she's obviously no psycho... and fat girls do WAY MORE stuff..  I'll hit n quit."

yes...go get'em orrin....finally

Washington (AP) -- Sen. Orrin Hatch is asking President
Barack Obama to launch a Justice Department investigation into
college football's Bowl Championship Series over antitrust
laws.
Hatch tells the president in a letter Wednesday that a
"strong case" can be made that the BCS violates antitrust laws.
The Associated Press obtained a copy of the letter.
Under the BCS system, some conferences get automatic bids
to participate in top-tier bowls while others don't, and the
automatic bid conferences also get far more of the revenue.
Hatch represents Utah, and he says the current system unfairly
discriminates against some conferences. The BCS has said it
simply recognizes the teams people want to watch. Neither the
White House nor the Justice Department has an immediate
comment.

Eh...she will do after last call if she looks like she does in this pic.....where she is slightly better lookling:

Alright, I'm fatigued from some of this other nonsense.   Here's the LL slate for the weekend for thoughts, discussion (my calls/perspective in parnethesis):

Merchant Marine at Hobart (Bart big, they've struggled this year overall, but have played significantly better at home, need to crush this one for the sake of the season and I just think that MMA as significantly improved is a mirage and that the SU win had everything to do with Pope being out - 34-14)
Union at Salisbury State (This is tough, Union struggles with runs up the middle, but Salisbury's rush attack hits the corners, so I don't know if that is a big advantage or not.  Connelly has been as erratic as Moretti, big against IC and Bart, not so much against Muhlenburg and SLU.  He'll have to play well for U to win.  Union 24-Salisbury 28)
WPI at Rochester (WPI looks like a pretender after looking good early in their tour of the Worcester All Stars -thanks for that one Pat, UofR 35-WPI 24)
St. Lawrence at Rensselaer (RPI needs this game and SLU isn't great again.  RPI 35 - SLU 17)

Check the other ones, think about the gut and then wonder if that's really the case.  Shaq couldn't get his hands around those love handles.

Yea this was the best one.  And Im just thinking last call here.....

Well yeah, if I was single on Saturday in the condition I was in I'm sure I would've ended up in a Georgia Tech zoo/sorority.  But I try to avoid dealing in last call hypotheticals because it's kind of like watching Saw (or Harold and Maude).
