well the phils have taken care of bizness...await the yanks/angels winner.  if the yanks get in there the price of tickets on stubhub will be thru the roof w/ an easy commute to both stadiums for fanbases

Yanks Phils would be DLIPing intense, I think that would go 7.

+K to KS for coining the expression "DLIPing" in exchange for "****ing".

Excellent

The Yankess have been looking like world beaters lately, but (and I'm not a yanks fan) I think the Phillies have been equally impressive and could put a hurting on NY depending on matchups/pitching.

dlip con-****ing-currs pa. If the Yanks win out and meet the Phils it will be all about pitching. Both teams can hammer that ball with the bat

dlip feels this weekends game between Salisbury and the U will be a very telling game for a few reasons:

-If 5-1 Union goes down there and gets ****in manhandeled dlip thinks it will be a very bad sign for the strength of the LL. dlip knows U has not played like the end-all be-all of the conference thus far but at 5-1 (3-0) to go down to the Gulls nest and get vibrated would not look good. Also taking into account the poor SJF loss to Salisbury and the fact that this same Cardinals team ****ing rocked a mediocre IC, the outcome of this game may tell us a lot about what the East is made of. If U wins (which dlip feels they are supposed to with their record and the fact that this is a down Gulls team) then we know that Union is at least "somewhat" for real. Even though Salisbury is down this year with their convincing win over SJF they would definitely be in the upper tear of our region. Any thoughts or is dlip just blabbing out his backside during lunch?

bigd just found out he has no week 9 high school game to coach  :-[

easy answer bring the little one to her first shoes game and then let her mother get scared out of her mind when we stop to Trick or Treat our way home thru South Troy ("no sweetheart the bum on King Street does not have a lolipop for you")

no dlip that is pretty much the way bigdvs sees it as well, Union can lose this game but play really close and still leave the whole East Region looking like a bunch of paper thin pansies or Union can win and kinda reestablish at least some strength in the region. Between the travel and looking ahead to SHOES, focus could be an issue as  well.

Yes, this is such a treat for everyone!  If the Phillie and Yankees play, we might break a record each game for most douchebags in one place at the same time!  YESSS!

Some excited fans on the way to their first World Series game
