Let's go Union today. dlip knows the game started 9 min ago but this has been his only chance to hit the LLPP today. The wife is having her baby shower so it is quite a busy day for dlip. Let's hope the U can handle Salisbury's big O line and the Gulls great ****in running game. dlip feels that this may be a very tough test for the Dutch as a result of Union struggling on the run D and being somewhat undersized in the secondary. To Salisbury that is sweet music so let's hope the U can battle and get a W here and make the East and LL look good. Honestly dlip feels the Dutch are the underdog coming into today and hoepfully they may feel the same and get a nice size ****in fire under their ass and play to their potential. dlip still feels, even with the injuries, Union has yet to play at their potential this season. Good luck U we are rooting for you!

Hobart seems to be handling USMMA pretty well so far.  7-0 after 1Q.

900 posts!

Bart opens the Q2 with a TD.  Not bad.

The Rev is not trying to gloat, but Bart is really sticking it to USMMA.  This wouldn't be a big deal in prior years, but seeing as USMMA is #3 and Hobart is #6, it does feel like a big deal.  USMMA has failed in 8 third down attempts.  Bart D is playing it old school

Cragg is pulling out some crazy stuff on O, too.  The Rev loves coach Cragg and his crazy trick plays.

3Q Hobart over USMMA 21-0.

Just blocked a punt to end the 3Q in good field position.  Why couldn't the Statesmen have played like this all season?

Modification: Rev got sniped while typing this post.  Lame.

13:36 to go.  Hobart 28-0.

Modification: Anonymous LLPP friend got The Rev's back and counter-acted the Sniper's effect.  Gracias.

Rev, do you know there is a LL in-game board?

That was me.  I knew you didn't realize there was another board for in games, plus it had been a while since I threw you some K.

Apropos of not knowing, The Scoreboard is reporting a final score of
Christopher Newport       4     Greensboro       2
even though the game won't start for several hours yet.

Jeez a fat guy blocks two FG's and preserves Alabama's #1.  Wow!

Thanks, Brother.  Good game, eh?

Tough day for Union.  Sorry, fellas.  At least you're still at the top of the LL, and your march to the NCAA playoffs is so far unhindered.  Plus, The Rev has a lot of respect for Union for choosing such difficult out-of-conference opponents.  It would be easy to choose patsies, but instead Union chooses teams that force them to play up and improve.  Big ups.

A lot of movement on the standings board.  Poor USMMA got socked down into Hobart former spot, Rochester jumped up into third.  St Lawrence slid to seventh.  The only constants were Union, Susq, and RPI...well, and WPI, poor bastards.

The Shoes next week should be a barnburner.  Can't wait to see what happens there.

did JT notice at the end of that game... the ball lay uncovered for about 5 seconds behind the LOS??  If Tennessee had picked it up and advanced for a TD (chances are low that far out), it would've been miraculous but not without precedent.  SF and buddies were wondering aloud if they were going to cover up the ball (in the 3 seconds) because Thomas More won a game that way against Defiance in 1994... its actually in the book "Heartstoppers and Hail Marys --- 100 greatest college football finishes.

Too bad --- I don't like Nick Saban..  would've been nice to see.

XRed thought the fat kid yanked his helmet off before the ball was recovered and downed.  Could have been a 15 yarder in favor of the Vols.
