It's shoes week people. Too bad gro won't be making the trek to schenectadeck, had such a great time getting kicked out of that "private" party at Geppettoes because some players mom didn't like my RPI shirt. At least Paulie handled it with class, by calling the cops.

in other words... UNION SUCKS. Welcome to shoes week.

touche douche RPI ****in SUCKS! Let's get in goin here during shoes week! What the **** is with the loss of K though? Who is the ****in douche bag who keeps snipping K? Anti-RPI and Union comments will be plentiful (hopefully) this week so the karma sniper should take his head out of his ass and adjust.

PBR...

in honor of another beatdown delivered in the llppffl pbr is dishin' out a helpin' of +k...

Although I hate to say it, science normally would say that this year's game could be slightly lopsided.

However, I know better.  There are still some people on the inside that base the word 'success' on the season completely around whether RPI beats Union or not.  I'm sure there was some game-planning done during halftime of the Rochester and Susquehanna games.  I'm sure the entire St. Lawrence week was with a Union scout team D.

So, with that said, it might actually be a dogfight this week.

Mr. Groberson concurs... this could be a back and forth game to the wire. Would be nice to have both offense and defense show up at the same game... seems like one is always missing each week.

Paulie kicking you tools out was the highlight of the weekend.....you guys may have won the game, but if it were not for U89, some of Shocktown's Finest would have shown up at Geppetto's to handcuff you while that non-Milf jammed her pump heel's into your eye's.

Be on alert, U89 is not going to be in Shocktown on Saturday to bail you fools out....or to buy all your beer again.

Not trying to start a broo-ha-ha here U89, and not saying that I totally disagree with you. But for debates sake, do you think perhaps Union isnt as good as we think they are? Or perhaps the East Region in general?

I say this because Salisbury handled SJF, who appears on path for a 2nd place E8 finish and who manhandled Ithaca. And I say it because that same Ithaca team that got manhandled by SJF is the team that Union was barely able to defeat.

You forgot to complete the loop: And Union lost a close one to Salisbury.  That's what makes this impossible to read what Union team shows up.

But isn't that college football at all levels this year? From the Stewart Mandell column, one of the craziest three game results I've ever seen:
2 weeks ago: Texas Tech      66      Kansas State 14
1 week  ago:  Kansas State  62      Texas A&M     14
So, of course...
This week:      Texas A&M      52      Texas Tech    30

Sorry, please accept my sincerest apologies. I just can't seem to muster up any anger towards the Boys from Troylet, We kicked their ass so completely in my 4 years, that we never had much passion for "The Shoes", it was just something we got for having to show up every year. So, no anger, only pity, if in fact we thought of it at all, it was to fondly recall a day of padding your stats, if in fact we weren't pulling the starters after the first quarter. The only reason it was more satisfying than beating the Colby Mules is that we didn't have to drive 10 hours to kick their ass, but it was in Troy, so now that I think of it, kind of a wash. Total score for my four years of the Shoes? UColl 143 - RPI 20.

There, happy?

Doid,
Be careful, U89 posted something similar a few years ago.  The 'boys of troy' were pizzed and got offended that I spoke of the past.....beware!!!  These engineer types (and LD) pick their battles.....strangely.

It's all in good fun, and dlip feels for **** talking to go on, regarding the rivalry, it should be wide open, wide ****in open! However, dlip never played and took part in the rivalry on the field like many here have so he is sure there are different perspectives from experiences. So to say it now, hopefully, we can all talk some serious ****, take some shots, etc this week and still be totally coo. dlip knows many of you don't care about hockey but this weekend is ****in serious. The U and Engineers face off on the ice as well. Interestingly enough the football momentum and success has changed regarding the rivalry (RPI 4 straight) as it has on the ice (Non-scholarship Union going 8-1-1 against Full scholarship RPI as of late). So honestly there are so many dimensions to this rivalry but the only competitions dlip really cares about is on ice  the and most importantly on the football field. *By the way, dlip heard the RPI band started playing at 11am for the Rochester game when RPI officially opened the empty stadium. Needless to say at the conclusion of the game the band was ****in finished!

What, Gro ASKED for some smack talk, practically begged for it, so I gave him some. Just being a good neighbor. What's so wrong with that?

But honestly, I'm just cranky that after spending a week in Vegas watching all of the pretty babies walking around, I come back and the first post I read on LL forums has a picture of that "thing" that Steve Phillips was hitting, well, I'm just taking out some anger. So now Phillips come's out and says he has a sex addiction? C'mon, with that wildebeast? Seriously, she makes Monica Lewinsky look like Marissa Miller. That troll is nasty. I just hope that I never come down with a sex addiction.
