Union is on the list.

The list shouldn't be too hard to decifer.  He probably wants to play football and baseball and go to a private school with a business program that's not too close to home, but also not 6 or 7 hours away.  In NY that's probably Ithaca, RPI and Union with further destinations being Fisher, Rochester and St. Lawrence with Utica as another possibility.
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

Terd, I see you lurking.  Take the final word on this one, Sir.

Update:  Left a message for Athletic Director John Miranda (AD of the Princeton Regional Schools).  I'll fill you in once I speak with him.

Let me know what he says.  If he wants me to delete the posts on this message board, I will.  I can't do anything about the ones I didn't post, obviously.  Thanks.

I think it's a lot worse than that, Ernie.  You've sort of shed a spotlight on a school and program that had a rough summer -- stuff like that doesn't need to be rehashed, but when you go wholesale on these boards to the degree you have, you turn up that spotlight terribly.  I don't think it's just a question of deleting posts.  It's more a scenario in which you need to stop representing that school in any capacity.  We're not Trevor's father, obviously, so I can't tell his father how to raise him.  However, I can say that if he condoned your actions, he risks eligibility in the NCAA because of it.  This is not a minor wrist slap situation.

Like I said, if I violated any rules, I can't do anything about that now.  I certainly don't intend to violate any in the future - if these rules are clarified to me by someone who is concerned about them.

Regarding how I raise my son, you're right - that's my own business.  He seems to be a pretty happy kid from what I can tell.

Regarding his high school, I can't say enough about how great the place has been for my kids and I don't want to cause it any harm.    I am sure the AD knows how to do his job and I have always been there to help him any way I can.  So again, I appreciate your diligence and await your findings and direction.  I appreciate your concern regarding the well being of my boy.

This is too much.  It really is.
Yes, very uncool Frank.  What is that all about....it was a good highlight video.
I actually think it is better than most of the films out there.

Well, check this site out...I have no interest in doing it, but i'd love to see these posters cross-referenced as to who they are, where the posts originated, and what relation they have to said poster...

This kid is insane! He doesn't break tackles, he just breaks the tackler. That kid is like a tank in a sea of Huffy bikes. Can somebody please tell me that we have offered him already? If we haven't, can we all just pray that he goes to a team that UK will never play? I don't want him to have the chance to hit some of our guys like that. I mean, the D started with 11 guys and ended the play with 8.

If the guy is being a tool...then he is being a tool...and he and his kid will pay for it later on at whatever school he chooses.

What I don't understand is why someone on a social internet board would ever think for a second to call the Athletic Director of a school district, where you don't even live in, to tell him/her about the rumblings and grumblings of a parent on the D3football.com post pattern boards.  Unless it was information about money changing hands, I would tell you to get bent and stop wasting my time.  You aren't a cop Frank...let it go.

I am not saying what the dude is doing is right/proper (as if my parents did this when I was younger, I would have disowned them)...but to act like a guy is going to make his kid ineligible for trying to get him noticed is kind of a douchebag move...

I still think he will fit right into Union.  You can even videotape your tailgates and post them on youtube.  That would be something.

But seriously, isn't the early admission process just about over for these nescac and LL schools?

Nope it is crunch time.  Lots of visits planned in the next 2 weeks.

I know for a fact early admission for nescac schools is over in mid november for 4 of those schools.

ED 2 is Jan 1, Jan 15 or Feb 1

I have no issue with what he is trying to do.  As far as I know, he was looking for clarification and was trying to assist me.

That was his junior highlight film.  He's a lot stronger now.

That's cool man...whatever.  I just wouldn't personally wouldn't want help from a guy that was acting as the internet police and threatening to call the HS AD over postings on a social network where all you were doing was pumping your kid (or your friends kid...whichever) up and getting people to try and notice him.

Seriously Frank...why would you even think to call the AD in this case???  Who cares?

It's a chicken-and-egg question, Yanks.  He didn't fess up to the whole situation until AFTER I said I left a message for the AD.  Now that he has fessed up, I'm still going to talk to the AD -- but in a proactive way to just inform him of what's happened to this point (not just on D3boards.com, but the 900 other sites this has been done on) and tell him the ball is in his court from here.  This won't be the last time a parent at Princeton High School overreaches, so there's something to be learned here.  If he tells me to "get bent," then that's his choice.

As for whether the actions constitute eligibility concerns, they do.  I'm not a cop, but I'm an attorney and know fraud when I see it -- which is what this became when you connect all the dots.  Let's say Trevor were a stock and not a football player.  There were plenty of fraud claims in the early 2000s for such activities ("pump and dump" stock schemes).  I'm not calling for anyone's arrest.  I'm simply saying, "Stop for everyone's sake.  This isn't appropriate and isn't helping anyone's future."  If that makes me a bad person, then so be it.

You are not a bad person.  You are a concerned community member.  Seriously though, have you ever seen Berecruited.com?  It exists for the explicit purpose of getting a kid out there to be contacted.  (By the way, it works.)  I'm not sure how putting a video on a free internet message board is different from putting it on a free recruiting website.

The Union coach seems like a nice guy, by the way.

Yanks, you disagree with everyone on everything just to get a rise out of people so just go run back to the E8 board and talk about Hartwick and how huuuuge ARod's hammer is.
