If the guy is being a tool...then he is being a tool...and he and his kid will pay for it later on at whatever school he chooses.

What I don't understand is why someone on a social internet board would ever think for a second to call the Athletic Director of a school district, where you don't even live in, to tell him/her about the rumblings and grumblings of a parent on the D3football.com post pattern boards.  Unless it was information about money changing hands, I would tell you to get bent and stop wasting my time.  You aren't a cop Frank...let it go.

I am not saying what the dude is doing is right/proper (as if my parents did this when I was younger, I would have disowned them)...but to act like a guy is going to make his kid ineligible for trying to get him noticed is kind of a douchebag move...

It's a chicken-and-egg question, Yanks.  He didn't fess up to the whole situation until AFTER I said I left a message for the AD.  Now that he has fessed up, I'm still going to talk to the AD -- but in a proactive way to just inform him of what's happened to this point (not just on D3boards.com, but the 900 other sites this has been done on) and tell him the ball is in his court from here.  This won't be the last time a parent at Princeton High School overreaches, so there's something to be learned here.  If he tells me to "get bent," then that's his choice.

As for whether the actions constitute eligibility concerns, they do.  I'm not a cop, but I'm an attorney and know fraud when I see it -- which is what this became when you connect all the dots.  Let's say Trevor were a stock and not a football player.  There were plenty of fraud claims in the early 2000s for such activities ("pump and dump" stock schemes).  I'm not calling for anyone's arrest.  I'm simply saying, "Stop for everyone's sake.  This isn't appropriate and isn't helping anyone's future."  If that makes me a bad person, then so be it.

You are not a bad person.  You are concerned community member.  Seriously though, have you ever seen Berecruited.com?  It exists for the explicit purpose of getting a kid out there to be contacted.  By the way, it works.

The Union coach seems like a nice guy, by the way.

Once Audino gets done with you, you'll have a promise of a starting job as a freshman and a new used car...and he'll probably agree to take your stock tips... :-)

No..they seem to be doing quite well.    I was more interested in comparing Union to the other schools that have shown interest.    I'm all ears....

However, if you drive a Volvo and are into the wine and cheese scene, Union is the place.

Well it's science really.  It's just 2 little words on the tip of everyone's tongue...UNION SUCKS!!!

However, if you drive a Volvo and are into the wine and cheese scene, Union is the place.  

I'd argue, but I have to run and get a better Merlot for this assortment of Brie I have at my place.  Maybe I'll debate this later...

Here is my advise-

Find something else better to do then picking on high school kids and their obviously excited parents.
