Rodman & Gro -

Why didn't you tell us you attended one of Trevor's Little League games before he made it HUGE?!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cq9nGBEYk64

That was just weird.  Gro, why did you say those mean things to that kid?

Big day in the LLPPFFL...U89 and I play in a 'win and your in' game.  Although we both may get into the playoffs either way.  Gro HAS to win to have a shot vs. the 1 seed(PBR).  Same goes for SF vs. the 2 seed(AJ).  Should be a pretty interesting day...

SaintsFAN

If my team HAS to win to get in, I'm fukked.  I don't think SF has a healthy QB today because of Warner.. What a pu$$y.. Its just a concussion two or there weeks ago.. He must not realize SFs team really needs him.

I'd like to understand why FOX wasn't able to switch us in NYC from the 34-0 Eagles/Falcons game in the 4th (Final was 34-7) to the exciting Saints/Skins game.

I'd further like to understand why, when we were sent to the Giants game, they couldn't provide some level of split-screen when NO was inside the 10.  I think the NFL's strict coverage rules do nothing but protect DirecTV and hurt the fan immensely.

By the way, how in the hell did the officials overturn the whistle and official pointing down in Overtime in that Saints/Skins game?  That's going to be resonating for a few days since the rules clearly state that you can't allow for continuation of a dead play by reviewing it.  Congrats to the Saints for the impossible comeback, but, man, that was an unbelievable finish.

(Thanks to Guru for giving me the PbP of the game from MN.)

I'm in Florida and they didn't switch to the saints game either... WTF?

Yeh, I was glad to see my Redskins are as pathetic as the Bills when trying to close the door on a 4th quarter lead....that is the 3rd week in a row they blew a 2 score 4th qu. lead.  A fu&#!^$ 20 yd FG?  Cant even make that....hmmm, kinda like SJF specs.

Crazy weekend of college football (not to mention the pro's). A few thoughts:

* If I had a Heisman vote, I would to cast a first place vote for Ndamukong Suh. Good god, what a monster! I've seen him about 4 times this year, each time he affects the outcome of games. He certainly won't win, and I'm biased towards D lineman, but he deserves to be Top 3. I think Ingram gets it though.
* What the dlip was Texas doing at the end of that game? Mack Brown was 1/2 of a second from making arguably the single biggest coaching blunder ever. No rush, had a time out, and he cuts it that close? Unbelieveable. I'm surprised that is getting more play today.
* Disappointed to see TCU play Boise. One of them beating the other really doesn't prove anything, and certainly doesn't help anyone assess how they would fare against the champs of a bigger conference. Would have preferred one of them playing Florida, and the other playing Cincinnatti.
* Great games up and down the schedule this past week. Has there ever been a final weekend filled with more exciting games? And who thought the Alabama-Florida would be the dud of the bunch? Oregon-Oregon State to start it off, Pitt-Cincy, Texas-Nebraska, GTech-Clemson, Fresno State-Illinois (the big fella catching the batted ball off of the desperation pass in his paws, and then just falling forward for the deciding 2 point conversion brought a tear to my eye), WVU-Rutgers, USC-Arizona, Houston-ECU, Connecticut-South Florida. Just absolutely sick games.

Mr. Ypsi

Agreed about the TCU-BSU matchup.  It is the ultimate slap by the BCS conferences: "OK, we'll let you both in ('cause Congress might step in if we didn't), but you have to sit at the separate 'kid's table'.  No way are we risking one or both of you embarassing one of us 'real' teams." >:(

good stuff Doid... Suh is a 1 man team/wrecking ball....he owned the line of scrimmage and was a man among boys, was throwing texas lineman around like rag dolls. Also agree that ingram will probably get the heisman. Exciting games imagine if they actually had a playoff like every other sport in college athletics at all levels.

Finally PBR is bringing it in the d3 brackets! Up to 35th place now overall out of over 800 and closing in on the guru (not) but overall pbr is has had a pretty solid showing now

Agree on Suh...the guy is a monster.  Anyone else remember a DL having this much of an impact???  I am sure there are some that are arguable...but none that come across immediately.

I also think McCoy's terrible game and the way he managed that last 10 seconds of the game cost him the Heisman.

Me thinks Gro's LLPPFFL team is headed for the playoffs.

What a Pu$$y...

Regarding the Heisman, I think the kid out of Stanford should be getting more pub as a candidate.  The kid has been running people over all year...

1700yds, 26 TDs is no joke...
