What a Pu$$y...

Regarding the Heisman, I think the kid out of Stanford should be getting more pub as a candidate.  The kid has been running people over all year...

1700yds, 26 TDs is no joke...

and against good competition

What a baby.  I understand the whole will yourself and your team to wins thing... and the Superman wears Tim Tebow pajamas stuff, but crying on the football field because of a loss??

Also, SF thought he moved DeSean Jackson out the lineup for this week's game... Warner and Fitzgerald have carried the team within 17.1 points of winning and has Ryan Grant from Green Bay going tonight... come on, RG!!

In full disclosure:  SF will be honest... was really close with his class at TMC and following the 1998 finale at Carnegie Mellon there was alot of hugging and tears, as 17 seniors were out of eligibility --- 5 of us got to play the next year as 5th years, but that was hard playing the last game with "everyone".

Totally agree...the guy is a battering ram.  I think it is even more impressive that 9 of the 12 games he has gone over 125 and only twice was held below 100 yards with the lowest being 87.  There should be a little more love for that guys o-line.

With Pitt losing like they did, the only thing that made this weekend salvageable was the fact that I got to see Tebow cry, the knowledge that I don't have to hear about him for the next six weeks, or watch grown men dry hump him until the NC game simply because he says "God Bless" after every interview...

Agreed about the TCU-BSU matchup.  It is the ultimate slap by the BCS conferences: "OK, we'll let you both in ('cause Congress might step in if we didn't), but you have to sit at the separate 'kid's table'.  No way are we risking one or both of you embarassing one of us 'real' teams." >:(

Sound analysis.  +K

Agreed!  +1 Mr Ypsi

I don't know.  Let's see what the winner does in the second round of the playoffs.

Agree on Suh...the guy is a monster.  Anyone else remember a DL having this much of an impact???  I am sure there are some that are arguable...but none that come across immediately.

Chris Long at UVA a couple of years ago kind of stands out but I don't think he received many votes for the Heisman.  Best interior lineman in terms of heisman voting is proably  Hugh Green from Pitt.

Good call on Howie's kid...he was pretty dominant...though I think I like Suh a bit more, at least right now.

Green was an absolute monster as well.

phew got to go back thru the memory bank...  maybe steve emtman from washington? ngoto was a wrecking ball as well at oregon but being on the west coast we didnt hear much about him on the east coast.  if memory serves me right a guy named kenneth sims from texas was the 1st overall pick but never amounted to anything. see if pbr can think of any others...

Really...its not ok to cry after a loss like that?  Man after 4 years of HS football, and losing in sectionals after an undefeated reg season, I dont remember too many dry eyes around.  After college career, not so much, but we ended on a win in a non-playoff season.

I have to say that those were the most bizarre set of posts I've ever read.

U89 wins the award for "best stayer-outer" and PC wins the award for "being too shocked to even say something sarcastic".

Other Awards:

Ty and Frank tie for the award for "My Law degree is better than yours"
Yanks wins for "Interjecting himself into anything controversial" award
Gro is the "Funniest irrelevant post" award recipient
JU wins for "Best Penis Insertion (in a post)"

And Finally,

Iamhuge for best actor in a Fantasy/Comedy series.

Sweet...God...I have so many people to thank...first and foremost God...I would like to thank God...because without him none of this is possible...

Easy there Mr. Tebow, don't you have some babies to be circumcising in the Philippines or something?

+K Upstate...

I was either going with a Tebow impression, or Peter Griffin in the Family Guy episode when he is on the New England Patriots...

Glenn Dorsey was pretty damn dominant for LSU a few years back, and was a true interior lineman. Green and Long were studs, but more Def Ends/ Outside LB's, so tough to compare apples to apples to Suh. Bruce Smith was a DT at VTech, and was a beast, Emtman as well.

All great players, but I think Suh is a small notch above.

I think what maybe seperates Suh is that he looks gigantic.  I missed Dorsey before in the discussion...and he was a hell of a college player...but he always seemed a bit small, and I thought he may get pushed around in the NFL.  Suh just seems like he has the size and athleticism to do well right away...though how many times have we all said that before...

I liked how Suh threw McCoy down like a Rag doll on that sack in the Big XII title game.
