You told me to "blame the system Ty"  Apparently you just went back to my original post and CONFIRMED that I did....what is the issue now???

What you meaning to say all comes down to one simple question.  I'm wanting a direct answer... and maybe the others can answer it as well????

How much can you bench?

I benched the bar the other day for about 10 reps.  What does that equate to?  ;)

I'm in the same boat... that equates to 135 in my book.  No guts no glory!

Ty go look at your first post on the subject.  You basically call out coaches, d1 football, the system, loyalty and 100 other things but when someone calls you out on one of them, you want to jump to one of your other points to show you want to blame one or the other.

The right thing to do?

You told me to "blame the system Ty"  Apparently you just went back to my original post and CONFIRMED that I did....what is the issue now???

The issue is that you blamed everything which I don't think is fair.  Coaches have no choice but to accept jobs during certain parts of the year.

...and tiger had no choice but to bend over every thong wearing slut West of Sweden other than his wife....right?  No choice...that's right...in New America that is everyone's attitude...."I had no choice"   Translation...."it was so and so's fault"

I did not blame anyone or anything....I simply made some observations and stated my opinion.   You want me to blame a certain entity over others in this college football system....I wont...I believe the entire system sucks...it is about greed with little regard for loyalty.

pbr says heck w/ it the coaches can leave freely and seek their dream job or greener pastures the players should be able to do the same w/o having to sit out a year!! free the players pbr says!! give the players free agency at the end of every season that would really liven things up...

Amen, brother, preach away!

Ty still hasn't answered the "how much can you bench question"....  ???

I'm 32 also, but I've had 2 shoulder surgeries in the past 18 months.   I got my previous job because I could bench 300 lbs (isn't that how they qualify sales people?)

Thats not really what I meant.  Coaches have no choice but to take jobs that are actually open.  By choosing to stay with your team through a bowl game, you are choosing to pass up jobs that open up during that practice time.  Thats the way the system was designed.

Thats why programs that drop football drop them as soon as possible.  So that coaches and players have as much time as possible to find new jobs and schools.

exactly... LD and SF are in discussions with a couple networks about a reality show featuring a couple of ex-D3 QB's who clown on people who deserve it.

Should be fun if we get the green light --- SF is going to do his hair using leftover remnants of the Exxon Valdez tanks.

Why?  Why do they have no choice?  If BK was their guy, ND would certainly wait a few lousy weeks for  formal and public comittment from him.  The recruiting line is BS.  Recruiting early is a strategy and a luxury not an excuse to leave your former team on the verge of the season finale.  Besides, what 17-18 yr old HS allstar is going to committ to Texas or Fla. beacuse Brian Kelly showed up 2 weeks later in the recruiting process?  Many kids dream of going to ND to play football...will they not wait 2 more weeks for their coach to show up in their living room?
