Those two things don't seem to really coincide. No doubt, you can have an opinion, but your opinion suggests they should change the underlying philosophy of the whole award. In which case, there really should be another award.

I'm with Pat here... its a great award for the Spirit of D3 football.  Who cares if some outsider looks at it and doesn't know that its not a true POY award type.

**Also... maybe the LLPP could sponsor a new award.  We could have the 1st presentation at 'gro's palatial estate in beautiful Chattanooga TN.   Gro, LD, dlip and pbr would the on the committee to determine who is on the committee... and they could announce the finalists in between car bombs in Salem, VA's finest bar.

dlip seconds this motion put forth on the floor of the great LLPP by the highly respected Andy Feltersnatch.

dlip also sees both sides of the Gagliardi debate here to an extent. Yet overall dlip loves the fact that the award represents more than just on field play but quality of individual/student/athlete. This clearly separates us (D3 football world) from the D1 football world in many ways and dlip likes it.

We should call it the LLPP Holladawg Award and it would look as follows:

The nice thing about d3 football is that when they say "student athlete" they aren't kidding, unlike many in division 1.

Re: LLPPFFL. So close, yet so far, LD (or should I say Andy feltersnatch).
Better luck next time, sir. :)

Had you won by 30 or 40, talking smack would be accepted.  But you won a high scoring shoot out.  Know your role.  Have some class.  I took every other teams' scores, averaged them together, and was still 33.44 points better.  U89 won with 66 for crying out loud.  Just wasn't meant to happen this year.

Upstate is also in that same tie for 27th and it's not bad considering in the 4th bracket he only had one pick right (Linfield).  Albright also threw a huge monkey wrench in things...

Thanks for asking fellas   :D The baby and the wife are doing great! The wife had a C after some extensive pushing so needless to say she was quite tired. Yet it ****ing amazes dlip how fast and well she is recovering. dlip used to think he loved his wife as much as he could, after this experience he realizes just what "family" means and how much love it entails. As far as sleep dlip and Mrs. dlip are quite lucky. The little dlip sleeps very well after she eats. So for the most part the sleep has been good. Thank you guys (HSC too) so much for asking. It has definitely been a ****ing intense week and a half. By the way dlip bought diapers that have the RPI insignia on the INSIDE. Hence when dlip opens a diaper and finds **** in there it always makes his day!
